Thank you to tour guide Cho Yen-chih for the professional explanation. Because visiting Kumamoto Castle and Aso overall was quite rushed, and because Mount Aso was under restrictions, there was less to explore, which was a bit of a shame.

Our tour guide, Xiao Cui, made excellent arrangements. Kumamoto Castle is worth visiting. He also recommended horse meat croquettes, and everyone should remember to try them! Although we couldn't go up Mount Aso, we were able to eat the famous beef rice bowl at the foot of Mount Aso. Also, be sure to buy the Mount Aso limited-edition horse oil moisturizing cream. Although it's a little expensive, remember to ask Xiao Cui for a discount coupon to save 1000 Yen.

A very comfortable and enjoyable trip. I'm very happy. Our guide, Sunny, was very professional in his explanations, had excellent English, was humorous and handsome, and carefully introduced us to the history of Mount Aso's Kusasenri Plateau and Aso Shrine. Sunny said he noticed I signed up for the tour alone and, worried I'd be lonely, thoughtfully offered to take pictures for me and patiently answered my questions. I'd book with this travel agency again for future trips. Thanks to the guide and the driver for giving me unforgettable travel memories! (I highly recommend the cream puffs and ice cream at Kurokawa Onsen!)

Although I couldn't see the volcano due to weather issues, the small city trip near Fukuoka was not bad! Both guides were really excellent with their explanations! There was a high proportion of Chinese and Taiwanese people, but everyone kept their appointments well, and there were many gentle people, so I was able to enjoy a pleasant day trip ^^ The time was also generous! I'm curious about other small city day trips!

Its my first time to participate in a tour like this and im glad i did. Miss Wang is so nice and she explained everything well. At first, i was a bit worried because i was alone and didn't know anything about skiing but they were so friendly and helpful. I recommend to take the basic lesson for beginners like me. I saw the wonderful Kumamoto Castle and Mount Aso. Kumamoto Castle showed a wonderful appearance as it is called one of Japan's three major castles, and although I couldn't see the crater of Mount Aso (due to local circumstances), I had a pleasant time looking around and refreshing my eyes. Thanks to the guide's kind explanation and consideration of the tourist attractions, I had a pleasant trip.

Kurokawa Onsen is a hot spring town in Japan. It's in the middle of Kyushu, about 20 kilometers north of Mount Aso. That's why many people like to go "onsen hopping" in Kurokawa. You can try different hot springs using a special pass that lets you visit lots of baths, including foot baths, private open-air baths, and even a cave bath. You can easily get to Kurokawa Onsen by taking a highway bus from Aso Station or Hakata Station, so it's perfect for a day trip or an overnight stay. It's the perfect getaway from busy city life, offering a refreshing hot spring retreat.

Must-visit Baths at Kurokawa Onsen
Yamamizuki
If you're visiting Kurokawa Onsen, you have to check out Yamamizuki. It's famous for its beautiful outdoor baths right by a mountain river. The outdoor baths here are so peaceful and beautiful that they're considered some of the best in Japan. There are indoor baths too, all separate for men and women for privacy and comfort.
Iyashi no Sato Kiyashiki
Even though Iyashi no Sato Kiyashiki is newer than some other hot spring spots, it offers a lot of different pools. You can enjoy an indoor bath, a neat wooden tub, a standing bath, and a big outdoor bath surrounded by thick leaves.
Kurokawaso
Kurokawaso has a huge outdoor bath surrounded by tall, green trees with a great view of a cliff. You can also enjoy a smaller outdoor pool and a big indoor bath here.
Oku no Yu
Oku no Yu provides various exciting baths, including a steam sauna, a cave bath, and outdoor pools by the river. While it might not look as fancy as some other places, the wide range of baths makes it worth visiting. This onsen is great for anyone who loves to explore different hot spring experiences.
Sato no Yu Waraku
Waraku at Kurokawa Onsen has an outdoor bath and a rock cave bath for day visitors. The baths switch daily between men and women. If you stay overnight, you can also enjoy private hot spring baths in your room.
