The hotel's design blends modern minimalism with the warmth of wood, and the guest rooms are clean and spacious. The most impressive feature is the large public bath and open-air hot spring on the top floor, where soaking in the cold weather while gazing at the mountain views offers complete relaxation for both body and mind. Additionally, the hotel provides complimentary drinks and snacks, showing thoughtful attention to detail. Combining convenient transportation with a resort-like atmosphere, this is the perfect base for exploring the Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go areas, and it's definitely worth another visit!

The tour guide was very thoughtful, sending information about shops, restaurants, and souvenir stores at the attractions even before departure. During the trip, there was a longer driving time, so the guide also scheduled a 15-minute rest stop at a service area. Before arriving at each attraction, a brief cultural introduction was provided, and upon arrival, the guide gave a simple explanation to travelers before allowing free time.

Just show the QR code directly to the bus driver. For the cable car, you can exchange your ticket when you arrive. It's very convenient to use. The weather was cloudy when we went up, but then the sun briefly came out, which was very lucky! It's definitely worth a visit, especially in winter.

This trip was to visit Shirakawa-go and Gokayama, and to revisit Takayama. My previous stay here was quite good, so I specifically booked Takayama Ouan again. They offer ramen as a late-night snack, and the hot springs are also excellent. It was a very pleasant stay.

It’s a nice day trip that lets you visit two amazing places. Since it’s an organized tour, don’t expect that you will have enough time to roam around. I booked this tour so I don’t have to worry about transportation and it’s been great!

It comes with a washer/dryer and a small kitchen. You can walk to a nearby large supermarket to buy Hida beef and cook it yourself. Basic cooking utensils and seasonings are provided. The price for one night is truly excellent value for money.
