Ghibli Park

Ghibli Park and the Ghibli Museum each have their own cool features. Ghibli Park is bigger and has different areas like Hill of Youth and Dondoko Forest that make you feel like you're in a Studio Ghibli movie. The Ghibli Museum, on the other hand, lets you see how the movies are made with special short films and exhibits. Getting to Ghibli Park is easy! First, take the Higashiyama Subway Line from central Nagoya to its last stop, Fujigaoka. This takes about 30 minutes. From there, hop on the Linimo elevated train and get off at Aichikyuhaku Kinenkoen Station. This station is right in front of the north park entrance gate of the Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park. You can also choose to take a direct bus from the Meitetsu Bus Center next to Nagoya Station. The bus ride is about 40 minutes and runs about every hour.

You should plan to spend a whole day at Ghibli Park, especially if you buy the premium pass. This way, you will have plenty of time to check out all the different areas like Ghibli's Grand Warehouse, Mononoke Village, and the Valley of Witches. Each area has unique attractions and fun things to experience, all inspired by Studio Ghibli films. Taking your time lets you enjoy the magic of the park.
