Cameron Highlands

The Mossy Forest tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Cameron Highlands! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with misty forests, unique moss-covered trees, and stunning viewpoints that felt like stepping into a fairytale. Our guide was friendly, even helped us taking memorable pictures. The pace was comfortable, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the views and take photos. If you're visiting Cameron Highlands, this tour is definitely a must-do for nature lovers!

This was a spectacular trip, our young guide Thavanesh was super helpful not only to us, but to others on the road also, he was full of knowledge and insight into the local area and its history. The mossy forest gets super cold so bring a hoody/ jacket, the tea plantation was amazing, we loved learning about the tea process. Would definitely recommend.

I joined this day tour yesterday and had a great experience overall! Our guide was excellent – punctual, picking us up right on time from our hotel and dropping us off afterward, which made everything very convenient. The guide was also knowledgeable and friendly, giving clear and engaging explanations throughout the tour. The itinerary was well-organized and enjoyable, with plenty of interesting stops and photo opportunities. One thing to note is that the tour uses a jeep, which might be a bit inconvenient for elderly travelers when getting on and off. Aside from that, everything was smooth and well-managed. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and informative experience!

Our guide, Saiful, was very warm and knowledgeable. He also offered to take lots of pics for us on his land rover against the scenery! Do note the Mossy Forest hike is very short and easy. Took us about 15-20 mins.

Wonderful experience with small group of 7 people. Starting from trek, then lunch, Tribal Village visit, bamboo arrow shooting and rapid boating. Really fun and guide was great (Mushroom 🍄). Loved the energy. Go for it; just bring spare clothes to change after rapid boating

The tour was very detailed. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was also very attentive to our family needs. The sunrise was beautiful and the scones was delicious.

It was a wonderful experience meeting the many fluffy wooly sheeps and alpacas. They were very friendly animals looking forward to their meals. We enjoyed feeding them all. Ticket price per pax is RM12 included food pallets in a box (3 tickets and we got 2 boxes, 1 small, 1 bigger box) and an ice cream voucher for discounted icecream. Inside you can also buy small pack of grass for them to chew. Overall, a fun experience if you love animals and feeding them in a cool refreshing environment. Great for families with children. We booked our tickets and paid online via Klook app for more rewards. We lived near Kea Farm so accessing the Sheep.Sanctuary was really easy, within walking distance. Best hotel to stay within walking distance to Kea Farm to avoid traffic jam and parking time would be Copthorne or Holiday Apartments under Equatorial.

Tour provided a jeep for travel - 4 people in the cargo area (a little squishy so yall might bump knees especially if you are tall!), 3 in the rear seats and 1 in the front passenger seat. Try to reach earlier to get better seats! Mossy Forest is restricted to tours only and there’s a locked gate that’s accessible to tour guides only. Selan was an amazing guide - thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable. He provided many interesting facts (about different edible plants and tea origins) and made us very comfortable throughout the tour. As mentioned in the description, do take note that the entrance fee to mossy forest is 30 ringgit per adult so do bring cash! Highly recommended overall, and would recommend with this tour group (Cameron RS Venture Travels and Tours)!! Look out for Selan!!
