Things to do in Cameron Highlands

Tour provided a jeep for travel - 4 people in the cargo area (a little squishy so yall might bump knees especially if you are tall!), 3 in the rear seats and 1 in the front passenger seat. Try to reach earlier to get better seats! Mossy Forest is restricted to tours only and there’s a locked gate that’s accessible to tour guides only. Selan was an amazing guide - thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable. He provided many interesting facts (about different edible plants and tea origins) and made us very comfortable throughout the tour. As mentioned in the description, do take note that the entrance fee to mossy forest is 30 ringgit per adult so do bring cash! Highly recommended overall, and would recommend with this tour group (Cameron RS Venture Travels and Tours)!! Look out for Selan!!

We were fortunate to be accompanied by Ganesh, an exceptional driver and guide! With 22 years of experience, he perfectly navigated the winding roads of Cameron Highlands and gave us excellent advice to optimize our day without wasting time. His professionalism and kindness impressed us so much that we hired him a second time the next day to discover his hometown, Malacca. His knowledge of the city's and Malaysia's history allowed us to better understand the cultural richness and evolution of this magnificent country. We highly recommend this excursion. The drive from Kuala Lumpur is quite long, but it is well worth it, especially to admire the beautiful tea plantations of Cameron Highlands. A huge thank you to Ganesh for these two unforgettable days. If you are lucky enough to have him as your driver or guide, you will undoubtedly have a wonderful time!

amazing tour, really recommend. our tour guide (Darwin) and the driver that day whose name i didnt catch was amazing! Darwin managed to time everything well and get us home in a decent time while showing us all the extra stops. it really felt like he genuinely liked the place and wanted to show us the cool stuff like the kampungs and all :D he was funny and interactive throughout too! i wont spoil the surprise stops but its really a treat. i really recommend this if you have no time!

Mr Chew is a very friendly and knowledgeable driver! He knows his area well and have an excellent communication skill!

We went here during the school holidays and had such a hassle free experience No need to queue just walk straight in and scan the barcode. 🐑🦙 The alpacas and sheep were so cute they might get a little aggressive when they see the food box. 😂 When you enter, the staff will advise you to keep the food box properly stored to avoid attracting the sheep. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and had a great time! ❤️

Guide was informative about the places and friendly as well. There’s enough time to visit all the places within the allocated time. The road to Mossy Forest was very steep and only can be reached by a jeep.

Nice place to chill and have a slow walk. some paths are pretty steep ans can be slippery when wet. flowers are colorful and cafes have food options.

I joined this day tour yesterday and had a great experience overall! Our guide was excellent – punctual, picking us up right on time from our hotel and dropping us off afterward, which made everything very convenient. The guide was also knowledgeable and friendly, giving clear and engaging explanations throughout the tour. The itinerary was well-organized and enjoyable, with plenty of interesting stops and photo opportunities. One thing to note is that the tour uses a jeep, which might be a bit inconvenient for elderly travelers when getting on and off. Aside from that, everything was smooth and well-managed. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and informative experience!

Is a gem find! Cool weather and hot onsen, great combination! This is opened few months back and interior looks new and good. We enjoyed the private onsen with hi-tea. Service is good and staff are attentive. If you are planning a trip to Cameron Highlands, do try it out. Highly recommended!
