Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary Day Tour with Meal & Transfers

IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE!! I don't speak English, but from my transportation guide RAMACHANDRAN to my sanctuary guide, they were always very kind and attentive, making sure my experience was unforgettable. Getting to know elephants was my dream and this sanctuary exceeded all my expectations!! Thank you very much for all the love and attention. The transportation was very comfortable, good food.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS A DREAM!!! In just one day, we managed to see many special things in Malaysia, accompanied by very punctual, well-organized, genuinely friendly, and cordial drivers who were super prepared to tell us about Malaysian culture (A big thank you to Charlie and Ramah, with an honorable mention for UK, whose kindness and cheerfulness made our trip carefree). The itinerary was truly full and well-prepared, giving us just the right amount of time to enjoy each stop and activity; starting with the Batu Caves, the incredible elephant sanctuary, Deerland Park, the silver leaf monkeys, and then concluding with the fireflies and the breathtaking blue tears. All entrance tickets, guides, lunch, and dinner (delicious and plentiful) were included in the paid tour. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

a fantastic day out. the guide was very knowledgeable and has been working at the sanctuary for a long time. the animals look very well looked after and their living conditions are clean and big. the deerland park was also a great addition. who knew deer loved potatoes so much. there's also a petting zoo section and again all of the animals looked so well cared for. Batu caves was eh. it's a bunch of stairs to a temple.... just like every other temple ever... this one is just colourful. great communication from the transport company too. we were a tiny group of 4 (my mum and I being 2 of that 4).

we had a wonderful day with Mr Rama! Mr Rama was on time for pickup in a modern, clean and luxury air conditioned van. We enjoyed a trip to Batu Caves, Deerland and the Kuala Elephant sanctuary. Mr Rama was friendly and very knowledgable and we learnt alot. Our Elephant guide was also lovely and we had a great trip. Highly recommend this trip and Ivy Tours.

The morning activity was a private 1-on-2 tour, and our guide, Steven, was very dedicated, introducing us to the local customs and culture of Malaysia along the way. Our first stop was the Deerland Park in Lanchang, Pahang, where we could observe and feed the deer up close, and even directly touch snakes, hedgehogs, and rabbits. At the Elephant Conservation Center, the guide arranged for another professional guide to give us an explanation, and here we could buy food to feed the elephants. I think this place is very educational for the public, and the viewing activities and performances are a good way to raise public awareness of elephant protection. After visiting the Batu Caves, we had to switch to joining a large group for the afternoon itinerary. This guide was also very friendly and proactively offered to take photos for us. Due to factors such as the tide, the blue tears on the sea were not very obvious that day, and we could only see a faint glow, which was the only regrettable part of the whole trip. But all in all, we still had a very fulfilling day and highly recommend this activity.

Great tour, the elephant sanctuary is a great place, the staff provides very detailed information about the lives of elephants and answers all questions. Our guide Rama was very friendly, and the transfer went well. The group was small, only five people. Lunch was delicious - chicken and rice. Due to the high water level, we were unable to participate in bathing the elephants, but the feeding and the show were very interesting.

I had an amazing experience on the tour to the Kuala Gandah Elephant Conservation Centre from Kuala Lumpur. It was one of the highlights of our family trip. The day was well organized with smooth hotel pickup and a comfortable ride. Our driver was friendly and professional throughout the journey. Stopping at Batu Caves was incredible. Seeing it in person was amazing, and the atmosphere was great, though visitors should watch out for the playful monkeys. The elephant sanctuary experience was unforgettable. It wasn’t crowded, which made it even more enjoyable. Learning about the elephants and the conservation efforts was very interesting. Feeding the elephants bananas and sugarcane was a highlight for the kids, and bathing the elephants was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Overall, the tour was informative, enjoyable, and very memorable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur who loves animals and wants a unique day trip. 🐘

We had a spectacular time, the whole trip was very informative and calm, the tpur guide was funny and very approachable. The experience was memorable... defo recommend it. Itenary, group size, attractions on the was just perfect.

Everything ran perfectly from 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM return. This company clearly prioritizes customer satisfaction and delivers an authentic Malaysian experience. Our kids loved the elephants so it was great. However, it was too far and burdensome. It was a course with a lot of car driving. Batu Caves requires a separate entrance fee, the streets were dirty, and the pigeon monkeys made it not so fun. The beach with monkeys, seafood, and firefly experience were all fun, but it wasn't a great experience for the price. However, it's an experience you should experience in Kuala Lumpur once. Recommended, but not the best.
