We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Kumo who has given us a great service and taking care of us on our trip. It was a great Japan experience as we get to try out Matcha Making and walking around in the kimono. We had the kimono experience in Kiyomizu-dera and it’s a picturesque spot with all the ancient looking shops and temples. Highly recommended. 3 hours in Kiyomizu dera is definitely more than enough to take photos in the random alleyway or shrines on the top of a hill. You also get a nice view of Kyoto from the shrine.

Our tour guide Koma looked after us as we are the only 2 persons in the group who cannot understand chinese. Koma translated what the chinese tour guide was saying. She was very accomodating. Thank you Koma.

There were no clear instructions for availing the rental kimono. Although the driver is nice and accommodating, we still had a good time going to the different places. But I would not recommend this tour for first-timers in Kyoto.

The tour guide and driver kept looking at the navigation system along the way and asked questions without knowing anything. He also asked us to walk from Yasaka Shrine to Kiyomizudera Temple. It was a very long walk. It took at least half an hour to walk from the shrine to Kiyomizudera Temple! We also had a one-year-old child with a stroller, and the tour guide didn’t understand the arrangement at all. It was very shocking!
