Things to do in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture

This booking was a great deal; it was much cheaper than buying tickets at the entrance. The customer service representative was also very patient and helped me plan an excellent itinerary, which made my trip very relaxing. The performances within Furong Ancient Town were also very impressive. Highly recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Jam-Packed Day in Zhangjiajie! We had an amazing day with our tour guide Wendy! We climbed all 999 steps up to Heaven’s Gate at Tianmen Mountain, then crossed the stunning Zhangjiajie Glass Canyon Bridge — what a thrill! Even with rain, the fun never stopped, and that’s a true credit to Wendy’s energy and enthusiasm. The best part? It rained on us throughout the day, but honestly, it didn’t dampen the fun at all — that’s a testament to how engaging and enthusiastic Wendy was as a guide. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, its history, and its culture, and her English is excellent, making communication effortless for our group. She made what could have been a logistically complicated day feel completely smooth and stress-free. Transportation was smooth and well-organized throughout. We’re already planning to come back in spring! If you’re visiting Zhangjiajie, book with Wendy — 5 stars all the way! 🌟

We had wonderful trip and experience. Small group tour, feel private, kind and nige tour mate. The transportation that we used going around also really clean and comfy. Really worth it for this tour, save alot our time and we visited many places. Specially out tour guide Zhang Fangfang really kind and help us alot. She arrage everything for us and gave us some recommendation of restaurants, helped us arrange our transport to railway station, and also took many pictures of me and my husband. Really worth it 👍👍

The guide 小橙子 was very conscientious and passionate in doing her job even though it was really challenging for one guide to be leading so many different groups. She was cheerful and knowledgeable and was skilful in managing expectations and knew her way around the various attractions very well. The first transfer from the airport was no good because the four of us with a few large pieces of luggage were assigned a normal saloon car which resulted in four of us having to squeeze at the back row behind the driver. The last two hotels were especially good and served good breakfast! Overall strongly recommended!

The Tour was amazing. We were picked up on time. The drive was very smooth and comfortable. We went in the afternoon, so we could see the beautiful day and night view of Furong. For us it was a perfect day.

Tour Guide: Our tour guide, Ms. Zhou Qin, was absolutely perfect! She introduced every attraction wonderfully and thoughtfully recommended some great food and classic sights. The hotel arrangements were also excellent. Attractions: Zhangjiajie was a bit disappointing because we didn't get to see Tianmen Cave, but we did see the Bailong Elevator. Fenghuang Ancient City was also beautiful; we learned a lot of history and saw many interesting things. Accommodation: The accommodation arrangements were very good and satisfactory. Transportation: The tour guide also made excellent and timely transportation arrangements for us. Overall: Although there were some minor disappointments, the entire trip was fantastic. Thank you, Tour Guide Zhou!

the driver Mr.Deng is responsible and is a good driver.. when we lost our way to the car, he come to pick us up and at the next town, he showed us where to go. so we dont get lost.

One of the best experiences I’ve had in China! This tour was such an incredible combination of adventure and culture. I started the day doing the via ferrata, climbing high above the mountains with some of the most unbelievable views I’ve ever seen Afterwards, we went to beautiful Furong Ancient Town, I even got to dress in traditional clothing and take photos surrounded by the lights and architecture of the town. Seeing Furong at night was absolutely magical and made the whole day feel like two completely different experiences in one. What really made the experience special, though, was my guide Winnie. She was amazing from beginning to end—kind, patient, attentive, and genuinely excited to help me have the best experience possible. Traveling alone in China can sometimes feel intimidating, but with Winnie I felt completely comfortable and taken care of. I would absolutely recommend this tour, and if you can request Winnie as your guide, do it! ❤️

Our tour guide Li Jie was very professional & efficient in taking of the Chongqing tour group. We were not rushed & given sufficient time to enjoy the sights. Tour was very well organised right from airport pickup to the tour end. We thoroughly enjoy ourselves & highly recommend touring with Li Jie.
