Hotel is near to the Hoan Kiem Lake and night market. Hotel is bit old and the lighting outside the room is dim. Staff are very friendly and have good breakfast choices. On our departure day to Sapa, the staff packed us sandwiches and drinks which surprised us. Hospitality was awesome. Thank you.

5 star service in a cracking location. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the Solaria. The care & consideration shown during our brief visit was above and beyond. This is not a 5 star hotel, the rooms are a bit small and dated and you can hear doors slamming in the hall but the service shown to us was far higher. We enjoyed the breakfast, cocktails on the roof & a lovely spa treatment. It was a lovely surprise to be given a leaving gift of fruit and coffee after we checked out. Thank you to Daria and the team for such wonderful care. Very happy to recommend Solaria as a great place to base yourself if you're in Hanoi.

Very nice boutique hotel located on the quieter fringe of the old town, avoid all the noise and crowds but still within easy proximity to all the main buzz. The rooms with the balcony are very nice and spacious. Food is good and staff service is brilliant!
