Things to do in Catacombe di San Callisto

Our guide Patrick Sweeney was amazing and really made the centuries old place come to life with his stories and relevance/meaning to our lives today. Very inspiring and informative.

The trip was good and whatever said was in a provided. But this 4 star is because my overall experience wasn't that great based on the actual arrangements made. I had expected to finish the Catacombs and the Crypt museum tour together within a single journey. Whereas the Crypt tour was to be done later whenever and the mode to reach there was the hop on hop off bus, which was trouble some, as the source and destination points had to be located and walked a lot which meant the trip couldn't complete in given time.

it was an awesome way to spend a couple of hours! dont be too early tho, not much to do there before they open!!

Absolutely amazing, recommended to book early morning to have enough time to explore everything and it’s not too hot. We can come in 15 minutes earlier than the time on the ticket, very easy entry, just scan the barcode. They did not check the passport at all probably it was super busy when we visited. It said 75 minutes but we could stay as long as wished. Highly recommended!!!

Eddy is the most amazing guide! He is equal parts of knowledgeable and humourous. His detailed explanations helped us to appreciate the centuries of history, culture and art that is preserved in the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. I would definitely recommend paying more to get a guided experience! It's well worth it!

my walking tour of the Pantheon was amazing and Giorgio our guide was very friendly and gave us lots of information about the history of the sites that we visited. As it was summer he also tried to walk through the shaded areas as much as possible. We also went to the Piazza by St Agnes Church and you can see the groves from the chariots still. Highly recommend and found the meeting spot easy to find. Thank you so much

I booked a different tour of the Vatican museums and Sistine Chapel for the morning, but my son really wanted to go up to the dome. I was unsure if adding this was going to be too much walking for me and my son after the morning tour. I am happy to say I am so glad I added this to our itinerary because it made us feel like our trip to the Vatican was now complete. What a special and unique way of looking down into the nave of the basilica, and a wonderful view of the city from above. My son said it was one of the best things we did on the whole trip! We met the guides outside the designated café, and they helped us with walking us to the start of the line. We only waited 5 minutes to get through security, and then we were free to roam around the inside of the basilica and up to the dome at our designated time slot.

The dates we chose for our trip unfortunately coincided with a cycling event in Italy, which prevented us from visiting downtown Naples. We received a notification email three days before our trip, which also mentioned the option to change our dates. At the time, we thought we could still visit Pompeii, so we didn't reply. However, the staff member even called us specifically to follow up, and we are truly grateful for their diligence and responsibility. We initially thought everyone had received advance notice, but upon gathering on the day of the tour, we discovered that many participants who booked through other platforms had not been informed and only learned from the guide on the day of check-in that they couldn't go to Naples. We were really glad we booked our tour through Klook. Our Italian guide was very professional and passionate about the region, providing us with fluent English and Spanish commentary on the unique scenery, famous attractions, and historical stories along the way. They also offered many suggestions for visiting Pompeii to those who didn't participate in the group tour and provided practical information for our dessert time in modern Pompeii, which was very enriching! Many thanks to our responsible and friendly guide and driver!
