Things to do in Lake Toya

We joined the tour on June 23rd, and it was great to be picked up and dropped off at the hotel! Our driver, Xiao Wei, was kind and friendly. He drove smoothly and safely, not talking excessively while driving. Upon arriving at each attraction, he would highlight key information and patiently answer any questions. He even proactively offered to take group photos for everyone, showing great dedication. Although the weather wasn't ideal today, it was still a very enjoyable trip.

Had a great tour with Catherine. Visiting Jigokudani, Showashinzan, and Lake Toya on a tour is convenient. The weather at the start of summer was also pleasant, so we had a great time. We didn't go up the Usuzan Ropeway so we thought the pace and timing were just right. We were also back in Sapporo downtime early.

This trip was excellent value for money. The itinerary was well-planned, allowing us to visit several of Hokkaido's most beautiful natural landmarks in one day without feeling rushed.

Leo was a great guide. Very friendly and always smiling. I’m very impressed that he can speak 3 languages- Japanese, English and Chinese.

We loved our Hokkaido Mount Yotei tour! The hotel pick-up and drop-off made everything so easy, and the small group size kept it relaxing. Our guide, Wei, was right on time and a very safe driver, so we felt totally comfortable the whole day. The schedule wasn't rushed at all, giving us plenty of time to sit back and enjoy each stop. Highly recommend Wei and this tour!

The trip is worth it. There were so many lovely sceneries and memorable experiences that I don’t think I will forget anytime soon. It is also very convenient for those who do not drive or prefer not to walk too much, as the bus brings you comfortably to all the attractions. Kevin, our tour guide, was approachable and shared many interesting facts and bits of history about the places we were visiting. It made the journey more meaningful and enjoyable. Overall, a great trip that I would recommend.

the guide speaks english and Mandarin well and the places we have visited as described in the tour are all covered with sufficient time for scenic photo taking, views and strolls. thumbs up!

Super recommended! Our guide, Leo, was a friendly, knowledgeable, multilingual king who oversaw our trip. He gave recommendations on what to buy and where to eat, and gave interesting facts about the itinerary destinations, so he was very helpful! The itinerary was perfect, with enough time to explore and take pictures, or eat and buy things at each stop. Our driver, Fujisan, also drove our trip smoothly. The bus was also comfortable. While it rained on the latter part of our trip, we thoroughly enjoyed it and had fun!
