It's small but well-equipped, and the surrounding area is very convenient for shopping! It's easy to get anywhere! The evenings are very lively!

The staff were friendly and spoke English pretty well. We had 3 twin rooms on 11th floor facing Tokyo Skytree which was nice. They changed the towels and emptied the trash everyday and we had the full cleaning of the room on one day out of the five nights. The beds were comfortable but I found the pillow too hard for my liking. However my family had no issue with it. The rooms were small but we could open a medium size luggage laying it flat by the window and another two large shopping bags by the side. I think a bigger room is needed if you have a large size luggage. Rooms were clean with strong air conditioning. We got used to walking the distance to the subways. It was about 15-20mins walk to Ueno. As we had an elderly in the group we took a private car transfer to Narita airport. I think it would be challenging to take the trains to the airport with those luggages, especially with kids and elderly.

The room is relatively small. The toilet is not fully functional. The location is strategic. Cleanliness: Poor Transport access: Good

Hotel Location: Excellent. It's easily accessible from Narita Airport; take the Skyliner to Nippori and transfer for just one stop. Service: Good. One staff member at the front desk speaks Chinese, Japanese, and English. Cleanliness: Excellent. Transportation Convenience: Good.

It's affordable, and the twin room can accommodate two people, while the double room is suitable for one. There's a lady at the front desk who is fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and English. The hotel's location is also very convenient. Highly recommend! I might stay here again next time I visit Tokyo. Bath salts are available at the front desk for soaking.

this hotel is great location, hotel staff were polite, and breakfast included. however. they don't provide water so you'll need to purchase separately. there's many convenience store nearby so not a worry

I had a very satisfying 14-day stay at this hotel. The property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and conveniently accessible, which made my trip comfortable and stress-free. The facilities were excellent, and everything was organized and spotless throughout my stay. What truly made my experience memorable was the exceptional service from one of the staff members with black hair who wears eyeglasses. She was incredibly accommodating, kind, and helpful, especially during the challenging circumstances of the recent earthquake and the airline disruptions that followed. During a stressful and uncertain time, she went above and beyond to make sure we are safe and well taken care of. She patiently assisted me with my booking arrangements and provided support whenever I needed it. Thank you to the entire hotel team for a wonderful stay, and a special thank you to her for making a difficult situation much easier to navigate. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our first stay in a Sotetsu Fresa Inn hotel chain. Chose this branch as Ueno eas our homebase. Initially booked the room solo but since my daughter decided to come, contacted the hotel through A***a and got the paid room reservations modified to included the 2nd guest, with some add-ons, of course. BUT, at the price point when I first got this during the Klook sale event, still very, very affordable for a Tokyo hotel.
