Paradise Cave tours

This day trip is a must do, genuinely one of the best I have ever been on. The caves are stunning and our guide Trà (Jessica) literally made the trip 10/5 stars for me. She had a good sense of humour, was super professional and informative in making sure our group got the most out of the day, and really went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a good day😊 I would highly, highly recommend both Trà as a guide and this tour to anyone considering it!!

Tuyen our guide is an absolute Superstar. she had the challenge of providing information in English and Vietnamese as our group had a 50/50 split. She gave lots of good info and made sure no one in the group got left behind. The value for the price we paid was quite reasonable considering it was transportation both ways and a very nice 7-8 course authentic Vietnamese family style lunch. note about the Paradise Cave tour: it’s A LOT of stairs to get up to the cave entrance. then once in the cave it’s a lot of steps down then back up. the large boats for Phong Nha c Cave were covered so no real need for hats or sunscreen thankfully. THANK YOU TUYEN for such a great tour!!!

At Dark Cave, we enjoyed zip lining, cave exploration, a mud bath, kayaking, swimming, and fun river activities. The cave itself is completely pitch dark, which makes the experience even more thrilling. They provided life vests and helmets with mounted flashlights, making it safe and easy to explore. The water was crystal clear and a stunning shade of blue, adding to the magical atmosphere. Our guide Mr. King was knowledgeable and experienced, making the adventure both safe & exciting. We also explored Paradise Cave, which was equally breathtaking in a completely different way. The tour included a buggy ride up to the entrance of the mountain, followed by an incredible cave exploration. The massive formations and beautifully lit interiors were stunning. Our guide Tuyen, also known as Chocolate shared great insights about the region and made the experience more engaging. The entire tour was organized seamlessly by Phong Nha Discovery Tours. Everything was well managed and professional.

The guide for Paradise Cave tried too hard to speak in a western accent, he exagerrated the rolling of his tongue so it was quite difficult to understand him. Other travelers and my group had to discuss among ourselves to figure out what he was saying, constantly. The cave was amazing, and the guide (besides his very forced accent) was a good tour guide. Not quite sure why the walk to the Paradise Cave had to be so rushed, especially under such high heat (it was 43°C). Multiple bottles of water was provided during the tour though, which was highly appreciated.

Adventure-Packed Day – Dark Caves, Mud Bath, Water Fun & Phong Nha Caves Combo This combo tour was a perfect mix of adventure, fun, and natural wonder. It kicked off with an adrenaline-pumping zipline straight into the Dark Cave, followed by the famous mud bath—a messy, slippery, and ridiculously fun experience that you just have to try once in your life. Post-mud madness, we cooled off with kayaking, swimming, and other water activities—a refreshing and energizing break surrounded by lush green views. And just when we thought the day had peaked, we were treated to a fantastic lunch. Seriously—fresh, flavorful, and filling, with a great variety of local dishes. It wasn’t just a filler meal; it was a proper highlight that added to the overall experience. Finally, the peaceful boat ride into Phong Nha Cave brought a sense of calm to wrap up the day. The cave’s sheer size and natural formations were absolutely breathtaking—like stepping into another world. A full day of thrills, laughs, great food, and jaw-dropping nature—one of the best experiences in Phong Nha, hands down.

What a lovely trip! Alex led the group really well and took great care of us. Tam Coc was the best part of the experience for me. And the view of the river from the steep but worthy Bich Dong trek was beautiful.

Today, my two children and I joined the full-day tour covering four amazing destinations in Ninh Bình: Hoa Lư, Bái Đính Pagoda, Tràng An, and Múa Cave. Our tour guide, Lan, who also goes by Lin Lin, was incredibly kind, attentive, and friendly throughout the entire trip. She made sure everyone felt comfortable and shared interesting information at every stop, making the experience even more enjoyable. We were extremely happy with this tour. And one more thing, the driver was also very kind and lovely. Thank you for making our day so memorable! Highly recommended!

Booked this tour since it was our first time in vietnam and had Paul as our tour guide. The tour was fun and we were able to go around hanoi seamlessly. the tour started on time and even finished on time. Had good coffee, good food, and good company! Takes good photos as well! Learned a lot about Vietnam’s history as well.
