Nippori Station tours

Brendan was really great! I saw his tour yesterday, and I’m at the Edo-Tokyo Museum today and so much makes more sense after having done his tour of the Imperial Palace. The explanations in the museum are a bit dry and dense with facts, and I don’t have a lot of connection to annecdotes which help me remember what happened and why. Brendan’s tour really helped fill in some of that for me, and provided me a much better context. I’d recommend to anyone — do his tour first, before the museum, for greater understanding!

We took the tour with Ricky, it was great, very informative and fun, it's really good to be able to explore the area paying attention to the details, plus he gave us many recommendations for food and activities.

We had a great experience with our tour! This guy Naoto is cool and fun tour guide you can get. If you are a food lover, you’ll like this tour cause they will give recommendations on where to eat and brief history behind every locations. They also take good pictures for you. This is highly recommended if you are coming to Shinjuku.

Had the best time! They gave us a free shot of sake & some free tea/mochi at the end. Staff was friendly & the entertainers did an amazing job. We for sure recommend!

A comprehensive look at the Palace grounds and the history, plant life, symbols, and culture that surround it. Laura was a great guide and answered all of my questions.

We had a great experience with Jack. He knows the area well (he lives walking distance) and showed our group all the best places to try and see. He speaks loudly and clearly which is important in a busy market. It would have been overwhelming without him and this tour enhanced my experience visiting this market. We had Haruhiko “Sunny” Tamura as our guide, and he was wonderful! This tour was the perfect mix of cultural learning, sightseeing, shopping, and eating. Sunny did a great job explaining the meaning and stories behind the places we visited. He even brought illustrations to explain customs like how to properly clean our hands and bow, which made learning about Japanese traditions fun and memorable. He was incredibly friendly, personable, and down to earth. His English was excellent, and we had no problem understanding him or asking questions. He gave us great shopping tips, helped us pick out a few shops he thought we would enjoy, and gave us excellent recommendations for lunch. It felt more like exploring with a knowledgeable local than following a typical tour. We learned a lot and had a great time. I would absolutely recommend Sunny and would definitely book with him again!

Really enjoyed the Tokyo City Sightseeing Tour Bus! It was an easy and fun way to see many famous places around Tokyo. The bus was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. The audio guide was also interesting and easy to understand. We got the 18:50 timeslot and were able to experience sunset. Great experience overall — I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo!
