Fantastic 5.0
I had an exceptional experience on the 6-in-1 Ghost Tour, thanks in large part to our guide, Lia V. She brought a wonderful blend of wit, enthusiasm, and narrative flair that made the tour genuinely memorable. I’d highly recommend seeking out one of her tours.

Fantastic 5.0
This tour was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. The food was amazing. We went to 6 different stops and we had a good mixture of savory and sweet. Come hungry as you get a lot of food. I would go early in your trip so you can go back to some of these places.

What to know before visiting New Orleans

What to do and when it shines

New Orleans is best known for lively guided Tours, river and harbour Cruises, and cultural visits to Museums — those categories lead booking activity on Klook through the year. Demand peaks in June and is quieter in September, so the city's festival energy and street life are strongest in early summer while autumn brings far fewer visitors. Plan around those seasonal rhythms: decide whether you want peak atmosphere or quieter streets. All observations are based on Klook booking data and describe past booking patterns.

When to visit and price snapshot

June is the busiest month with demand about 35% above a typical month, while September is the quietest with demand roughly 56% below a typical month; this is drawn from Klook booking data. Prices move separately: the priciest month by median price is September at AUD 125, and the cheapest is April at AUD 64, so crowd levels and prices diverge — September is quiet but relatively expensive, while April offers lower prices with more typical demand. For lower prices and smaller crowds aim for April; for peak-season atmosphere pick June.

October Quieter than usual AUD 81

Demand is bookings in that month compared with a typical month, from historical Klook booking data, grouped into the demand levels above; typical price is the median paid on Klook in that month; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, July 2025 – June 2026.

Tips for travellers from Australia

Most travellers book fairly close to travel — on average about 3 days ahead — while the earliest planners book around 17 days out, according to Klook booking data aggregated across the platform. That means you can often decide late and still find experiences, but in June and other busy months earlier booking pays off to secure popular Tours and Cruises. Use Klook to lock in must-do experiences a couple of weeks ahead for peak periods, and be confident booking closer to departure when you prefer flexibility.
