The room was okay for a short stay, clearly in an older building. My room was ready for check-in much earlier than expected and the front desk and concierge were all nice and helpful. The only staff member who was less helpful and seemed bothered was the bartender at their lobby bar, therefore I didn’t bother going there during my stay even though I had planned to. Location is great, if you stay here I recommend eating at the Creole House right across the street. Everything is easily walkable from this hotel. The Cafe Beignet located inside the hotel was also just okay with staff that seemed stressed and less than interested to be there, and serving me a cold pastry. There are better cafe’s to try. The pool was small which I knew and expected but what made it hard to enjoy was that most of the lounge chairs located by the pool were unusable and broken. There were maybe 3 or 4 that were not broken and unusable out of about 10 chairs. This stay was okay, not bad, again, for a short stay. I probably will not stay here again if I come back to New Orleans.
