The 4-day, 3-night Tumpak Sewu Waterfall + Ijen Volcano tour was amazing! As a Chinese girl traveling alone with only average English skills, I didn't feel any pressure at all. The whole trip was comfortable and the scenery was stunning. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall was so beautiful it left me speechless! I must especially praise the guide who led the way to the waterfall. He was very gentlemanly and considerate, offering help on dangerous sections, and taking photos with great care. Every photo he took was amazing, making the experience even better. The other guides were also dutiful and completed the service according to the procedure, without any perfunctoriness. The accommodation was also very reliable, clean and tidy, so I felt completely at ease. A small incident: There was a confusion with the amount charged by the driver going to Ijen Volcano. He charged 80k Indonesian Rupiah but said it was a 35k medical examination fee, and also mistakenly calculated 50k as 5k. Later, I carefully checked it and got the money back. But the driver on the last leg of the journey was super heartwarming. Knowing that I was a foreign tourist with poor English, he specially got out of the car near the hotel to help confirm the specific store in the local language, and also took the initiative to help carry my luggage. He was so gentle and kind, I was instantly warmed! Overall, it was a very satisfactory trip. Most of the staff were reliable and the value for money was good. I recommend it to friends traveling alone. Just be sure to double-check the amount when paying to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.

It is well arranged as stated in the itinerary. Our driver Agus, the guides and the stay over host are friendly, helpful and polite. The whole trip was fun to meet new friends and the stay at Indah Damai is great too. Good for Solo traveller to join this tour, more going together will be cheaper though.

Had an amazing 2D1N trip to Bromo and Ijen. The blue flame was unfortunately not available due to local conditions, however seeing and walking into a volcano crater, admiring the blue lake & mountains nearby is already a mesmerizing experience. Tour guide Rizky and his driver had everything arranged so the whole trip went without hazzle 👍🏻

We had the most amazing experience with our guides Nando and Viko on the Ijen Crater and Bromo trip! From start to finish, they were so helpful, kind, and supportive, staying with us every step of the way. They also took amazing pictures for us, so we could just enjoy the moment. During Ijen and the waterfall, we had local guides as well as Nando and Viko, which made the adventure even more special and authentic. What we truly loved was how they shared Indonesian culture with us and answered our millions of questions with warmth, patience, and honesty. Thanks to them, the trip was not only breathtaking but also meaningful. We learned so much and felt really cared for throughout. If you’re planning this tour, we can’t recommend Nando and Viko enough , they will make your journey unforgettable!

The itinerary is flexible. We arrive on a late-night flight on the first night, and they'll arrange a late-night transfer back to the airport on the last night. Because of our late-night flight, they specially reversed the itinerary. We were able to visit all the attractions, and the driver and tour guide Dosi were very friendly. There were extra experiences added along the way, such as trying local snacks. It will make you love Indonesia!

We had an incredible 3-day, 2-night tour of Mount Bromo, Mount Ijen, and Tumpak Sewu, made even more memorable thanks to our driver, Mr. David. He was extremely friendly, attentive, and went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after throughout the trip. His knowledge of the local area, driving, timings and caring nature was impressive, showing us the best viewpoints and spots. David truly made our adventure seamless and enjoyable – highly recommend him for anyone looking for a smooth and unforgettable journey.

Our family just had our 4d3n East Java family tour and everyone in the family enjoyed this trip tremendously! Our guide and driver, Viko made us feel welcome right from the moment we landed in the airport, we were given his contact before the trip so we can coordinate easily. Though we had to change hotel daily (which could be tiring), it was a good itinerary to allow us to tour Baobab, safari, Malang and Mount Bromo in a good pace. Communication with Viko was smooth as he speaks great English and we can also customize our day if we like to shorten this visit to an attraction or have lunch at another location. We brought our travel car seat along for my 2 year old so will be great if the tour can have car seat options for young children. Overall a delightful holiday, thank u Viko and Avantour Travels!
