We visited the Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum with my family (all adults — parents and siblings) and had a really fun time. One of the best parts was the DIY ramen activity where you can customize your own cup and even upload a personal photo to print on the lid. It made such a fun and memorable souvenir. The ramen restaurant area downstairs had an amazing atmosphere and was enjoyable to explore. Ordering was pretty easy since the ticket machines had English translations available. I’d still recommend using a translation app after getting your tickets though, as some parts afterward are mainly in Japanese. The exhibition displays and information pieces around the museum did include English translations, which was very helpful. The only thing I wish they had was more vegetarian-friendly ramen options as well as some chicken-only choices, since I can’t eat pork for health reasons. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back again!

This is a very attractive place for children under three years old. The live-action shows come one after another, and the children can have a blast. In addition, there are various Anpanman toys and hands-on activities, which allow children to feel the joy of stepping from television into reality. There are also many themed restaurants to choose from, and the creative birthday parties are very ceremonial. The cultural and creative products also keep this adult like me very busy.

Amazing experience and a dream come true for any car enthusiast! A huge thank you to Lamm, who made the tour even better. He is genuinely passionate about Japanese car culture and took the time to answer questions, share interesting information, and show us as much as possible. He also helped with photos and made everyone feel comfortable throughout the tour. Seeing Daikoku and the Japanese car scene in person was unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Lamm as your driver!

Arigato To our guide, Toshi! We took a mercedes C180 all the way to APit, shibuya and also tokyo tower. My dad personally picked this tour as it is a hotel pickup compared to other tours which saves you the hassle of going to locations that may be far from you. In the end, it was an enjoyful experience and very worth it for money.

This was my first time joining a one-day tour, and I was very nervous before we left, worried about getting a difficult guide. The day before departure, Klook provided us with the guide's information and contact details, and the guide answered all our questions, which put my mind at ease. Since there weren't many participants, our group was a combined Chinese and Korean tour. Our guide was amazing, speaking Japanese, Chinese, and Korean fluently! During introductions and explanations, sometimes he'd speak Korean first, sometimes Chinese first, showing no favoritism, which was fantastic! Besides doing an excellent job with his guiding duties, he also gave us little tips for traveling in Japan, like where to eat, the best places to shop, and must-buy items. He was truly a five-star guide! This wonderful guide was Kim Myung-cheol, and I highly recommend him!

What to know before visiting Yokohama

Quick snapshot of Yokohama and its top experiences

Yokohama’s Klook bookings are driven by tours, museums and water‑park fun, with observation decks and massages also popular. Demand peaks strongly in April and May and tapers through the autumn into October, so the city’s visitor rhythm swings between busy spring months and much quieter autumn weeks.

Best times to visit for price and crowds

According to Klook booking data, April is the clear peak month for demand while October is the quietest. Prices trend independently of demand in places: booking prices rise into January and stay relatively high through the spring, while the lowest typical prices on Klook appear in July. For travellers after lower prices and smaller crowds, July and the quieter autumn months around October–September suit best; for the full peak‑season atmosphere go in April–May when demand is highest.

Tips for travellers from Australia

Most travellers from Australia typically book about 19 days ahead, with many locking things in earlier in busy months and last‑minute options still possible up to about five days out. If you prefer flexibility, many museum and observation‑deck experiences can be arranged closer to your visit, but for popular tours in April–May it helps to plan a few weeks ahead on Klook.
