    One of the trendiest areas in Bangkok also known as the mecca for shopping and trendy cafes - welcome to Siam Square. Here, you’ll find lots of shops selling cute quality clothes, cosmetics (visit Eveandboy, Watsons and Boots!), and more.

    Your experience in Siam Square isn’t complete without a stop at one of the stylish cafes either, like the pink-themed The Cassette Coffee Bar or the famous Korean egg sandwich store Eggdrop. You can also visit one of Thailand’s most popular dessert chains, After You Dessert Cafe, for their kakigori (shaved ice dessert) or Shibuya honey toast!

    What makes Khlong Ong Ang Walking Street different from other graffiti-filled streets is that there’s also a canal in the middle of the street. Don’t be surprised if you find people kayaking along the canal – you may even consider doing it yourself! 
    When you feel like taking a break, stop by one of the food and drink stalls along the streets. Whether it’s to take a breather as you drink drip coffee or enjoy Indian food to fill your empty stomach, you’ll find the experience much more exciting.

    4. The One Ratchada and Srinagarindra Train Night Market

    There are tons of night markets available in Bangkok, but if you’re short on time, we recommend visiting The One Ratchada and Srinagarindra Train Night Market.
    The former is smaller and centrally located with great eats and shopping available. The latter on the other hand, is a huge night market with antiques and second-hand goods, on top of the usual night market finds – you can even spot vintage cars and motorcycles here!

We also recommend visiting Khao Yai for the cooler weather and European vibes – you’ll feel like you’re not in Thailand!     6. Benchakitti Forest Park

    There’s a forest in downtown Bangkok? Well... not exactly. But with all the wetland area and lush greenery, Benchakitti Forest Park definitely looks like one. There are elevated walkways that light up at night with cycling paths, and jogging tracks where you can exercise or take a stroll in the early morning or afternoon.

    It's also an aesthetic spot for photos, perfectly balancing tranquil scenery and an urban cityscape - this lovely park feels almost like New York City’s Central Park!

Then you’ll love Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall, where you’ll be able to find out more about the history of Thailand’s current kingdom. In this three-story building featuring nine exhibition rooms, you’ll be greeted with interactive media, replicas, and multimedia presentations that showcase the development of the Rattanakosin Era.

    Make sure you arrive at Chinatown (also known as Yaowarat) with an empty stomach because you’ll want to try out all of the food – mind you, this might not even be enough because there are just that many food choices available!
    Here, you’ll find a wide array of food that’ll satisfy even the pickiest eater, from light bites like skewers, dim sum, and roasted chestnuts to heavyweights like clay pot rice, grilled seafood, and peking duck.

    With this many food options, it’s no surprise that some of the stalls are awarded by Michelin – take the Michelin-star Chinatown food tour to make sure you don’t miss any of them! It’s open all day, but for the real deal, arrive in the evening when a section of the road will be closed off for food stalls.

    Food shopping is a must, no matter where you go! And in Bangkok, one of the best places to get your stock of Thailand-limited Lay’s chips and Mama noodles is Big C Supercenter Ratchadamri. It holds a wide range of snacks, ranging from potato chips and seaweed snacks to instant noodles and milk tea.
    It also sells fresh food, cosmetics, electronic goods, and more in case you ever need them during your trip or if you’re looking to buy them for back home – it’s a supermarket after all.

    Not sure where to start? Siam Paragon is your go-to mall for high-end brands – it has a cinema, Kidzania, and a huge aquarium too, in case you’re ever bored eating and shopping.     Terminal 21 is also a good choice for food and photo ops, with its themed floors (each floor has a different theme!) and numerous chain restaurants.     Pe Aor Tom Yum Kung Noodle also makes great tom yum noodles, perfect for Tom Yum lovers – with seafood, tom yum, and noodles combined, you’ve got a winner right there. For comfort food, Go Ang Pratunam’s Chicken Rice will do just the trick, best eaten together with its spicy sauce and warm soup on the side.
