Buying tickets on Klook in advance not only saves money, but also avoids the hassle of queuing on site. It takes about 25 minutes to drive from the ancient city of Chiang Mai to the Night Safari. Arrive at the zoo around 4 pm. When entering the park, the staff will give you a performance schedule so you can arrange your time so you don't miss any exciting performances, especially the tiger show. The Safari bus is divided into herbivore area and carnivore area, and the guide will introduce the animals in Chinese and English. It is especially recommended to sit on either side of the vehicle so you can see and feed the animals more closely. It was amazing to see the animals up close.
I personally like to confirm the night before departure and half an hour before boarding the bus for the Night Safari (transport bus boarding time and driver's license plate number). I am very grateful to klook's online customer service for assisting me in completing the confirmation of the transport bus. Night Zoo The itinerary is very fun. It is the end of July, so the sun sets relatively late, about 7 pm. So follow the ticket attendant to select a time to play and you can play all the itineraries. We play from 4 pm to 7:40 pm. .We watched the wonderful animal show and tiger show, and also took a ride to see the cute (herbivore animal area) electric car, and to see the (carnivore animal area). Thank you very much for the driver who took us on time and for the planning. The klook company for the itinerary allowed us to have a very pleasant family travel activity today ~ I will definitely recommend the (Night Zoo) itinerary provided by klook to my relatives and friends!
my partner is obsessed with animals so when he found out chiang mai had a night safari, he immediately wanted to book it. and we had such a great time here!! we could buy some food to feed the animals (40 baht for a basket of food) and we regretted not buying more food because there were a lot of animals that came up to us to eat out of our hands. the guide on the night safari tram was very detailed in her explanation of the animals and we were sad when the two rides we were on came to an end 🥹
It was a fun experience. There were openings on both sides of the tram, so I was able to see the animals up close. However, we recommend that you select the 3 o'clock pickup and take the tram immediately upon arrival. The sun sets from 6 o'clock, so it's hard to see the animals. The dancing show and fountain show aren't bad, but if the time isn't right, there's no need to force them into your schedule. It is important to get on the tram when it is floating!
They didn't tell us the exact pick-up time, so we were the last team to wait for about 30 minutes, but since they were the team that dropped off the fastest, we were scheduled to arrive at the hotel 30 minutes earlier. The transportation was good, the driver was friendly, and he took pictures at the entrance and checked my face when boarding. I got a ticket so I could go in and see a variety of performances, safari tours, fountain shows, etc. Snacks, cookies, drinks, and radish were sold inside, so I had a good meal with sticky rice. ^^
I made a sudden reservation the day before and went, and it was a really good experience. I was worried about waiting for the hotel pick-up without any information, but the driver came at the confirmed time and the round trip was comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the safari because it was large and had a variety of things to see. Because the weather was so hot, both the animals and people looked a little tired, but I was still more satisfied than I expected. There was a place that sold simple snacks and food, but it wasn't enough for dinner, so the kids settled for the bread we had prepared... In fact, I think we didn't even have time to eat because we were busy doing all this and running out of time to get back. It seems like a good itinerary to spend a day in Chiang Mai and have a fun experience.
The experience was fantastic, and anyone who loves wildlife will definitely enjoy this activity. The shared transportation was a comfortable, air-conditioned van. The wildlife was adorable and interacted with visitors, especially the giraffes and spotted deer in the herbivore zone. The predator show was spectacular, featuring the golden tigers Ava and Luna. The experience concluded with an exciting song and dance performance. I highly recommend this tour for anyone traveling to Chiang Mai. The venue's receptionists were friendly and used a red pen to mark which areas to visit first, ensuring guests could fully enjoy their experience.
The safari is very kind to the animals and you see that they are well taken care of. The guides in the tram also gives a lot of trivias about the animals.
The driver is conscientious and kind. He knows a little bit of Chinese and can count the number of people before driving. Two of the activities in the zoo are a bit inexplicable dance performances. I thought it was some kind of animal performing dance. It turned out to be a human dancing musical fountain show. It was just an ordinary fountain tiger performance. Tigers can be trained to be better behaved than dogs. What happened to grass-eating? Animal area and carnivore area_just sit in the car and watch animals. Overall, I think the zoo has no surprises, so I don’t need to come.
