I HAD SOOO MUCH FUN!!!! I LOVE HOW GENTLE THESE ELEPHANTS ARE! Guys, please support their sanctuary. Their baby elephant Nam Chok is so cute!!!!! Ofcourse, others too but Nam chok is really irresistable and very charming!!! All their elephants are sweet and gentle. You can hug them-which I did! haha and they are loving it! I hope I can return and visit them again! Their staffs will guide you properly and can speak good english. God bless tee tee elephant home. 🥰
I am so glad that I signed up for the opportunity to visit Tee Tee Elephant Home! As most reviews have stated, the elephants look so well taken care of and free. The owner was very kind and passionate towards the elephants and you could tell by his explanations and mannerisms. In the morning, the elephants get to roam around the space opposite the river freely, and they come back later in the morning for more food. We signed up for the half day tour the evening before and got confirmation a few hours later. We fed them bananas and made nutrition vitamin balls. We also crossed the nice cool river with the elephants and watch them roam around and splash in the water freely! Bring a change of clothes (a small towel is provided to clean up afterwards). Highly highly recommended 👍🏽
I booked a very last minute trip to the Elephant Sanctuary and it turned out to be the same one I visited in April, but it got an upgrade. I saw baby Namchok and he is the CUTEST! this experience is so worth it as spending time with elephants this close is rare, and I see why they are called gentle giants. I recommend bringing a extra pair of undergarments as you will get wet. My family and I had the best time ever with the amazing guide and driver who picked us up. The pad thai they give you at the end is DELICIOUS! I absolutely loved everything about it and I hope you can experience this for yourself too.
So worth it! It was the first time that I had such close contact with elephants, feeding them, walking together, watching them play, giving them baths, and making food for them to eat... It was very interesting and meaningful. The staff were very polite. After arriving, we changed our clothes first... then fed the elephants bananas, and then taught us how to make food before feeding them. If you need to walk across the river after feeding, the staff will help carry the children. This process was also the most thrilling. I can’t swim so I was worried because the current was very fast. But in the end I passed it successfully both times, so I felt that it challenged myself. When you get to the other side of the river, you can walk with the elephants and watch them play... It's magical because they are really right next to you... After all the activities, you can simply take a shower. The staff will prepare food and everyone can eat together. It feels very warm. . One thing to mention is that taking a shower is very simple, but you need to bring your own shower supplies and straps, otherwise it will be difficult to separate wet and dry with one hand... Overall, I am really happy to participate in this event.
We had an amazing half day here would highly recommend! I have done other elephant sanctuaries in Thailand however this is definitely the one I would recommend people to come to! we got to feed them, make vitamin balls, take them out in the jungle for their exercise and bath with them I. the river.
1 hour drive to Tee elephant sanctuary. there is around 5 elephants, one is a 7 month baby, soooo cute. after changing to their costume, we then fed them, made rice ball for them, walk to nearby river to bath them. finished with a yummy plate of padthai. pure fun.
We were driven to Tee Tee sanctuary. The driver stayed with us all day. He was really kind and helpful. There were 5 Elephants from 60 years old to 5 months! People were really kind. Nine (name) was our guide. She is the best. They teach us a lot about elephants. It was an amazing experience and I would do that again many times if I could. Loved everything about it.
Highly recommend the elephant experience. We went to Tee Tee elephant farm. Please book with them directly if you can. They are ethical with no riding, only feeding and walking. Baby elephant and family was extremely cute. The staff are all super friendly and can speak English and mandarin. Wear slippers like crocs or sandals as regular slippers may break in the mud.
the whole family was gone (4). From beginning to end, the kindness of all the members from the transfer and the local guides in the camp made the difference, making this experience one of the most beautiful of our lives. The interaction with the elegant family was incredible, we mudded them, fed them, prepared their natural medicinal balls, walked through the jungle twice, bathed them in the river, everything was beautiful. Recommended: they gave us everything: sandals, typical short or long clothes and shirt, towels, excess water, food and dessert, tea or coffee on demand, there are very clean bathrooms with showers. I would return, without a doubt. There are many sanctuaries or camps, I suggest not going to the ones that offer you to ride the elephants, they are mistreated and it is not the philosophy of living with them in their habitat. I recommend full day and going early. The only thing is to find out in which vehicle they are transported: we went in the box of a Toyota with seats, but the driver was driving at 110 km/h and at times we became tense. It is an hour round trip from downtown C. Mai. Tee Tee Elephant camp 😍
The operator emailed me earlier to confirm the time for pick up and they were punctual. The ride was bumpy but we got there safely. It was a real eye-opener as to how to care for the elephants. We fed the 5 female elephants with chopped pumpkins and bananas, made vitamin balls for them, and then we helped bathe them in the river. Our guide Min was really informative and funny too. She speaks good English so it was easy to follow the programme. They served vege pad thai and fruits for lunch after. A really great experience, would definitely recommend!
