Newcastle Tandem Skydive Experience

It’s super convenient to have city pick-up and drop-off, and the skydiving schedule is fast and accurate. When I first saw that there were not as many skydiving students in Newcastle as in Wollongong, I thought there was something wrong there, but just because there were so few people in Newcastle, we could take turns super quickly. When we got on the plane, everyone finished the dance very quickly and returned to Sydney city. Needless to say, the skydiving process is absolutely amazing. I read a lot of experiences and said that there is not much uncomfortable centrifugal force when jumping out of the plane and falling freely. It really doesn’t. The excitement and anticipation are greater than the nervousness throughout the whole process. The instructor will basically cover everything. You only need to be responsible for your expression. Management is just three steps, simple! I heard from friends who have skydived in different places that skydiving in Australia is really cost-effective. Friends who have the opportunity to come must make sure to schedule it!

After paying in Klook , I need to pay extra Aud175 for the skydiving video and photos. But it worth. Newcastle has a very awesome view, I enjoy the view when we going up. When it arrived the height, the signal light turned into orange. Door open suddenly, meanwhile the coach counted “3,2,1” , JUMP! And I did it! Wao! I love the free dive and the view is really really beautiful!!!! My coach is funny, energetic, very professional. The staff there are also so nice. One more thing, since the group size of going to Newcastle is small, so you can go back to Sydney earlier and keep enjoy your journey.

highly recommended! i opt for transfer from Sydney, driver was on time. the view was beautiful, we got lucky that the weather was perfect on that day. didn’t have to wait for long for our turn. very professional and friendly.

Leaving a review pretty late but this was the single best experience in my life. Booking through Klook was so easy and then the people at Skydive Newcastle were just the sweetest of the lot. Clear, simple instructions. It was raining two days before the skydive so I kept praying to the rain-gods to take a break 🤪 It was the most beautiful day with clear blue skies. And omg what an exhilarating experience this was. DO NOT MISS OUT.

Although the pickup time was early, the shuttle was easy to find, and the driver was very friendly and enthusiastic even in the early morning. After everyone had gathered, the driver informed us of the estimated return time based on the number of participants. There was a rest stop halfway through the journey where we could use the restroom. Upon arrival, staff called out names, weighed us, and confirmed if we wanted to purchase the photo and video package. Afterward, we waited in an open area for our instructor to meet us. The instructor helped us put on our gear and taught us what actions to perform. Then, our instructor recorded the entire experience for us. The weather was excellent that day, and the scenery was clearly visible. The freefall part was thrilling, and after the parachute opened, we enjoyed the local scenery from the air. Midway through, the instructor let me try controlling the parachute myself, and then we landed safely. After all participants had completed their turns, we headed back. I purchased the video and photo package, and they quickly edited the video. Overall, the experience was great and very enjoyable. I'm so glad I participated in this activity!

it was an exciting and rewarding experience! everyone going to Australia should definitely consider joining! I am glad that I have decided to take part as it was an experience of a lifetime. The Newcastle tandem skydive is cancelled due to weather but the staff kindly rescheduled me to wollongong, so that I can have the jump before I leave.

I had an outstanding skydiving experience! My tandem instructor, Joe, provided valuable information throughout the jump, and Skydive Australia prioritized safety at every step. I appreciate Klook for facilitating such a memorable adventure!

This was a lifelong dream, and it was so much fun and absolutely worth every penny... I plan to do it again next time I'm in Australia. The staff member behind me held on so well that I wasn't scared at all, and if I had more money, I'd honestly want to do it every day. If you're Korean, go to Newcastle; it's really fast. They pick you up from the same place as the Wollongong skydiving, but Newcastle has far fewer people, so you go in a small van, while Wollongong uses a tour bus. You can only return to Sydney after everyone is done, haha. Since five teams go up in that tiny helicopter at once, I'd come back to Newcastle again. Even after skydiving and returning to downtown Australia, you can still grab a quick lunch.

Definitely one for the books. A must try when coming to Sydney. all the staff are nice and made sure we enjoyed every moment of the sky dive. We apid an extra 179 aud for the video and pics.
