Taichung Half-Day Rainbow Village & Wetlands Experience

The experience was great! I recommend everyone try to go when the weather is good, Gaomei Wetlands is truly beautiful. Not only are the views stunning, but at the end of the boardwalk, there's a spot where you can go down into the wetlands and wade in the water. Along the way, there are many small crabs and mudskippers, which are very interesting to observe. For the other attractions like the National Taichung Theater, Rainbow Village, and Tunghai University, we didn't have a lot of time, but each place is quite small and doesn't take long to see. Tunghai University is very pretty; it's a bit of a shame that we had so little time there, basically just enough to quickly see the chapel and a small area around it before having to leave.

The tour was great. The tour schedule includes essential tourist spots in Taichung. It's a half-day tour, so you could visit Shenggang Village in the morning before joining. Gaomei Wetland is really windy, so I'd recommend anyone with long hair to tie it up before visiting. Although it's a half-day tour, the itinerary is well-packed. It was great that the tour included places I wanted to see in Taichung, so I didn't have to visit them separately. Since the tour started in the afternoon, I also had time to explore Shenji New Village near the meeting point. The weather was good, so I enjoyed the beautiful scenery overall. Even though it's an English and Chinese-speaking tour, they played a Korean translation for us, which made the experience even more comfortable. The wind at Gaomei Wetland is strong enough to spin the wind turbines. I recommend that women with long hair tie it up. Am I the only one who thinks of G.O.D.'s 'Road' when walking through Gaomei Wetland?

Definitely worth your money to be comfortablely transported to these local sights. Meeting up at Starbucks was easy, guide wore a bright orange vest to easily identify her. Guide can speak Chinese, English, and Korean quite well. All the talking is done on the bus (thank you Lynn!) and you are given time to explore the sites at your own pace. Watch the time, don’t be late getting back on the bus! Guide lets you know all the interesting facts about each location and offers advice on what to buy. Being dropped off at the night market is a good idea, it’s far from the city centre.

I was very happy today because my foreign friends visited and specifically signed up for this tour. As a Taichung local, it was my first chance to visit Gaomei Wetlands and Rainbow Village, places I usually wouldn't get to see. It even rained that day, but thankfully we had a car for a full day exploring four attractions in Taichung. The value for money was excellent! Our driver and tour guide, Apple, was friendly and enthusiastic, taking great care of us throughout the trip. The schedule was also perfectly arranged. I highly recommend Tour Guide Apple! Highly recommend!

A very nice trip. The tour guide was very enthusiastic and talkative, and her explanations were very thorough. We chatted very happily, and she provided a lot of emotional value. As for the attractions, the opera house was just okay. Rainbow Village is quite interesting for a place that can be explored in five minutes, and it's the right choice to come with a group. The wind on the Gaomei Wetlands bridge was strong, but I didn't think it was cold. It was cloudy that day, but the sun came out a bit in the afternoon, and we miraculously saw the sunset, which was really beautiful.

I liked the tour. The weather was a little cold so I couldn't see the sunset at Gomi Wetland, but the people I toured with were very kind and although it was hard on the first day, the guide explained things well so it was a fun trip. Iron Man in Rainbow Village was also very kind and it was a meaningful trip.

the guide was by good. she speaks very good English and Korean. keen to answer all our questions. the rainbow village was very small nothing to see ong coloured wooden houses. but if your new it's OK to have 1 visit.

Even though it was a cloudy day, I was able to make a beautiful memory at each location. George Chi shared fascinating stories everywhere, thanks to his extensive knowledge of history, geography, and more. This was a wonderful tour that I would 500% recommend to any friend visiting Taichung! Taichung truly is a beautiful city! ^ㅇ^ !!

It was such a fun experience with this tour! We spent only half a day but we were able to visit a lot of interesting places. The tour guide was also informative and helpful in evey way. The weather was perfect when we visited. I highly recommend this tour package when in Taichung.
