- Noboribetsu Noboribetsu Hell Valley Hokkaido’s iconic geothermal spectacle, a canyon landscape formed after a volcanic eruption, is extremely impactful. Among the reddish-brown rocks, dozens of fumaroles continuously spew white steam, and the smell of sulfur permeates the mountains, coupled with the gurgling hot spring streams flowing at the bottom of the valley, as if breaking into a “hell” secret realm.
- Lake Toya Area Showa Shinzan and Bear Ranch This is a fun experience of Hokkaido’s “Beware of Bears” culture. You can observe adorable Hokkaido brown bears up close. Lake Toya’s Eight Views A collection of Lake Toya’s core landscapes, covering eight major scenic spots such as “Three Islands in the Lake”, “South Bank Cherry Blossoms”, and “North Bank Forest”. The lake water is crystal clear, and the scenery varies from season to season - cherry blossoms reflect the lake in spring, blue waves ripple in summer, red leaves adorn the coast in autumn, and the lake surface does not freeze in winter, with distant mountains covered in snow. Lake Toya Observatory The best place to overlook the entire view of Lake Toya. Looking out from the platform, the clear lake water, the islands in the lake, the coastal forest, and the distant volcanic group form a complete landscape painting, with the essence of the “Eight Views of Lake Toya” in full view.
- Otaru Area Otaru Canal Otaru’s iconic attraction, synonymous with retro charm. Century-old red brick warehouses line the canal, paired with retro gas lamps and European-style street lamps on the shore, creating a full atmosphere. Kitaichi Glass Workshop A representative venue of Otaru glass crafts, “哨子” means glass in Japanese. The museum displays tens of thousands of handmade glass products, from exquisite tableware and accessories to creative ornaments, each of which is crystal clear and full of light and shadow. Otaru Music Box Museum A literary secret hidden in the streets of Otaru, the architecture itself is in European retro style, and the giant music box at the door is a landmark for photo ops.

Reviews
Our tour guide, Xiao Zheng, was very patient, meticulous, and attentive to each tourist. He explained everything in Chinese, English, and Japanese. The travel experience was excellent and highly recommended!
great day. Rii our guide was lovely, and very helpful. especially loved Otaru and would have enjoyed longer there.
our tour guide Rii was very good at explaining all the history. however, this tour is abit too rushing and we cant really enjoy it. personally i don’t really enjoy otaru as its just a shopping street. i wished i had chosen other trip that went to ningle terrace. we had lunch at showa shinzan. the food was good and affordable but there’s nothing much there only the view or the mountain and bear ranch which for me was not worth it. lake toya nothing much to see only lake and mountains view behind and were there for a quick stop only around 10mins to take photo. i only enjoy seeing noboribetsu valley. the rest was just too boring.
good experience and fun. nice view and met new friends
Why wasn't it indicated that this was a Chinese tour?? There was an English/Chinese option, so I chose English, but this is a tour where a small number of people who chose the English option join a Chinese tour. The guide alternates between explaining in English and Chinese, so I didn't find it beneficial. I'm grateful to the guide for working hard, but the tour itself gets 1 star 🥲
In conclusion, I did not have the experience. Reasons: 1. The final confirmation email was received very late in the morning the day before. 2. The information in the email was presented as an image, but some phones had display issues, making it impossible to see the QR code or the complete image. 3. On the day of the tour, the guide did not attempt to use the provided information to add group members. 4. On the day of departure, the meeting time was 7:40 AM. I arrived around 7:40 AM but did not see any clear signs to identify the guide. As mentioned regarding the email, the meeting point was correct, but the image display was problematic. So, I could only wait at the location marked "Group Bus 1." I kept waiting and eventually realized something was wrong; there was no one there. Although there was a license plate, I didn't see the guide directing anyone near the tour bus. Even if they were looking for people, they might not have been holding a flag or any obvious identifying item, which made it impossible to find them. 5. Based on the above situation, they should have contacted the travelers again via Gmail. None of these actions were taken, and there was no response to subsequent emails. For all these reasons, I realized something was wrong and that I had been left behind. If you want to have this experience, please pay attention to the issues above. The guide will not proactively add people's information or contact them. They just send out a standard form, and whether you get on the bus or not is your problem.
