Ticket redemption can be done right on the bus when you get on. An earphone for the audio guide and a map are provided at the start of the ride. The route and stops are well-chosen and provides a comprehensive view of the interesting sights around the city. Make sure to take both the red and blue routes!

I had an amazing experience with the Hop On Hop Off Sydney tour — it made exploring the city so effortless and enjoyable. The open-top deck gave me stunning views of Sydney’s famous landmarks, perfect for taking photos. Easy to redeem the voucher, the app made it easy to plan your time and it’s the best way to see Sydney. When it gets too hot on top, you go downstairs for some air con. the commentary is great and you get a little pair of souvenir headphones when you leave. you get a great view of the opera house and bridge, so you don’t need to get off the bus if you don’t want to.

U can redeem for the 1st ride from any big bus stop.
There are the red and blue route servicing Sydney.
I took the first bus on the blue route and was the only passenger. the whole duration was about 1.5hrs.
There are more buses servicing the red route which cover all the major attractions in the main central. Download the big bus apps and u could monitor the virtual bus schedule. Each wait for the next bus is 30mins.
To find the big bus pickup point, there is usually a poster tied to the lamp post and they even had a crew at some of the major pickup point.

experience: This is my first time booked a night tour under big bus. After 4 days tour around sydney , hop on hop off is definitely reccomended for those who like to experience a night vibe around city. However is extremely cold. hahahha. recommended to wear layering if u sit on top. glide through sydney harbour bridge and stopped under the bridge for some photos is worth the experience. The bridge is enormous. so beautiful at night. Love the environment. TQ Bigbus TQ KLOOK for this amazing experience.

Was a great buy(even in winter) to view the city at one go in 3 hours. Chose to go for Bondi route first. And when we got to change to the Sydney route, it started raining. So thankful to be able to view Bondi while it was still sunny. Decided to head to Sydney Fish Market for lunch/dinner and it got really cold really quickly due to the rain. Nonetheless, food was great and great memories were formed. Highly recommended to download the app so that you get real life bus tracking and don't waste too much time waiting for the bus. Even decided to go to Sydney wildlife zoo the next day (within 24hrs) and got there easily.
