Itinerary: Booking a direct tour package is very convenient, which is crucial for those who dislike planning. The itinerary generally features one main attraction per day, making it theoretically relaxed. However, driving between attractions is necessary, which can still be physically demanding. This is unavoidable, as there is indeed distance between attractions in Shangri-La, plus the altitude differences. Visitors should be mentally prepared and bring essential supplies before coming. Guide: I didn't expect our driver to be a wonderful woman! Sister Li was incredibly kind and patient, making the journey feel very relaxed. Her driving skills were excellent, and she even prepared fresh fruit and special mooncakes for us in the car. A truly great experience! Accommodation: The accommodation was excellent, and the hotel reception was very comfortable. Sometimes just staying at the hotel was enjoyable enough. I especially want to commend Songtsam; on the last day, I suffered from acute gastroenteritis with vomiting and diarrhea, but my flight was very late. I was able to book the Songtsam airport lounge directly, which made the experience much less painful. (My only regret on this trip was the gastroenteritis; I saw a doctor and slept for a whole day after returning home before recovering. Travelers should definitely be careful!) Attractions: The attractions offered cultural explanations and scenic experiences. If you're visiting Shangri-La for the first time, I highly recommend it for a basic understanding. This can help you prepare for deeper experiences later. (Personally, I'm more inclined towards the cultural aspects for future visits.)
