Great location. The room was spotlessly clean and surprisingly spacious, making it very comfortable even for a short stay. Beautiful Moroccan-themed resort .

Hotel ambience & amenities were truly top notch and made our stay feel relaxing and memorable. However, the check-in process was quite slow. Prior to arrival, I had emailed regarding my room request for a garden access room as this was our celebration staycation, and the team did reply mentioning a cake arrangement too. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the arrangements discussed earlier were not there 🥲 The playroom helpers were incredibly attentive and caring towards my son. Huge kudos to Aunt Bella, Mariam, Zubaidah & Norliza for making Noah’s experience extra special — he truly enjoyed every activity provided and already wants to come back again with his little brother 🤍 Special thanks too to the friendly chef/kitchen crew we met at the lobby for recommending dinner spots to my father-in-law, as well as the pool and in-room service team for the warm hospitality. My son absolutely loved the reptile show too!

Everything is good. It’s just that when we call for the luggage pick-up from the room. The call wasn’t pick up.

Twas a great experience during our holiday on 31aug -1 sep at GSR. We are very pleasing and super grateful for mega warm service being attended by all staffs. Checkin handle very smooth even during school holidays, and serve with ice cream. We are also very satisfied with marvelous buffet dinner by Chefs. The environments so peaceful and the amenities. Hopefully to come again next trip. Thanks Shangri-la Golden Sands Resort

We had a pleasant stay at Hard Rock Hotel Penang. The hotel is nice and our room had a beautiful sea view. The breakfast was also a highlight a lots of choices and everything was good. However, around half of the hotel was under renovation during our stay, so there was some construction activity. We understand that this is temporary and look forward to seeing the hotel once the renovation is completed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again after the renovation is done!

This is my third time staying here, and it’s always been the perfect place to stay 🫶🏻 I even got a complimentary room upgrade this time. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made me feel right at home.

The hotel is compact with necessities and toiletries. They only provide two water bottles per night but there’s water dispenser at the lobby which is fine. Plus, they have a coffee machine at the lobby with some sofas. Overall, its great value for money.

The room was big… the original setup had a king-size bed, then I brought along a queen-size air mattress. There was also a sofa in the room, and even with all that, there was still plenty of space — really satisfying. The bathroom was large too, with two sections: a regular shower and a bathtub. Breakfast and dinner were just in front of the hotel, within walking distance, with lots of choices. To get to Feringhi Bay, you could just walk along the beach for 5 minutes. The swimming pool was great as well. The only downside was that every time I used the hairdryer, the power would trip and cause a blackout. That’s the only issue.
