Kanazawa

We had a pleasant time in Kanazawa using kimono rental service from Vasara. They have various selection of good quality kimonos and services were smooth and professional. We love the enthusiasm of the staffs.

We had a wonderful time with this experience. Shiin picked us up and took us to a temple that was in great shape. we donned our kimonos from the selection he had available. from there we had a history lesson on Japanese swords and swordsmanship. he then taught us a few basic moves and we put our skill’s toghether to put a short video together. we then took photos around the property and learned snout Kanazawa the castle town. if you are a fan of martial arts or swordsmanship this activity is for you.

Amazing experience, very peaceful and relaxing but stil enjoyable. the staff were very friendly and guided me very well through learning different techniques and pointing out areas to improve to make my final piece better. the scroll I left with with stay with me for a long time along with the memories.

fun afternoon- this was standard but the belt accessory was 550 yen and hair increase was 1100 yen .. not needed at all standard is fine!

It was a spectacular experience. The chef and his wife were the best hosts. The chef's knowledge is very extensive, and with the translation system they have, there was no problem with interaction. The ingredients were top-quality. I highly recommend it.

excellent experience with well trained staff to assist you with picking your kimono, helping dress you and doing your hair. I highly recommend. it was a magical day and we felt like we were in a fairytale walking around the garden.

Such a great tour with good enthusiastic guide 小Xi and safe Japanese driver. Big coach was clean and comfortable. The scenery along the way was beautiful. Everything went well. We were very lucky to have a guide who spoke clearly and gave detailed instructions, information and recommendations both verbally and through WhatsApp. The itinerary was excellent with sufficient time at every stop. The tour is self-guided so we enjoyed the flexibility to do what we want and roam around freely based on the many places suggested by 小Xi who WhatsApp the exact location on Google maps to us. He also provided maps and gave food suggestions. We stayed at Hotel MyStays Kanazawa. Rooms are clean and new but very small. Double bed is also very small for two people. Best to ask for twin beds when booking this tour. Breakfast at the hotel was great with a wide spread of local and continental food. Overall we enjoyed this tour very much. Highly recommend this over a day tour to Shirakawago/Takayama.

This was my first time using Klook to buy a pass, and I was a bit nervous and unsure. Redemption Guide: We cleared customs at Terminal 2 at 12 PM, then took the free shuttle bus to Terminal 1. We went up to the second floor, where there's a JR station with a manned counter. Since it was a weekend, there weren't many people in line. A gentleman who spoke excellent Chinese (likely Chinese himself) was on duty, making communication very easy. We successfully redeemed our tickets for the JR Limited Express Thunderbird from Shin-Osaka to Tsuruga, and then transferred to the Shinkansen from Tsuruga to Kanazawa. We had seats for both, and there was no problem with our large luggage. Considering my 86-year-old mother, he suggested we allow a bit more transfer time in between, so we wouldn't have to rush to find the platform and catch our train in an unfamiliar place with two large suitcases. It added a little extra time, but everything went smoothly.
