One evening it was almost impossible to communicate with the staff. Nobody spoke English. We simply asked if the next morning we could have breakfast to go since we were leaving very early. They just pointed to the Japanese breakfast. We tried to tell them we wanted an English breakfast to go. We finally gave up. Very simple to prepare a western food breakfast bag. But we gave up and purchased something at 7-11. More effort needs to be made to hire people who speak English.

Fantastic

Solo stay

Perfect place for a brief stay in Kanazawa. Easy walk to the market and the castle. Only 20 minute walk to the Gardens. Beautiful top floor onset with an incredible view. Just wish the day hadn’t been so hot- I might have enjoyed it more. Also walkable from the station if you don’t have much luggage. Lovely staff and nice touches like lemon water in the lobby.

Wonderful hotel walking distance to castle. Lovely room and attentive staff - plus incredible breakfast! The big bonus…amazing public bath on top floor with view from bath of the mountains!! Will be back.
