Hue

This private tour to Hue was excellent and exactly as described. We visited all the highlights on the itinerary, including the Imperial Citadel, Thien Mu Pagoda, Khai Dinh Tomb, and Tu Duc Tomb. The guide shared many interesting historical facts and gave us enough time to explore each place while keeping the day well organized. Typical Hue itineraries include these major imperial landmarks. The drive was comfortable and efficient, and being on a private tour made a huge difference. We were able to move quickly between attractions, avoid unnecessary waiting, and focus on the most interesting parts of each site. Unlike some other popular destinations, Hue didn’t feel overwhelmingly crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Lunch was served at a quiet, peaceful restaurant, and the food was delicious. We left at 8:00 AM as scheduled and returned around 5:00 PM, exactly as advertised. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and we were very happy with the experience.

Had an amazing day tour to Hue exploring Vietnam's historical heritage! This was by far the best handled guided tour I've taken. Our guide, Tâm, messaged the pickup time in advance and met me right at the hotel entrance. We took the tunnel instead of the Hai Van Pass, but Tâm gave us a great history overview along the way, including a nice coffee break at a lagoon. The Highlights: Khai Dinh Tomb: Incredibly beautiful and unique architecture. Lunch: A wonderful group meal at a lovely hotel. Tâm perfectly handled my dietary restrictions. Thien Mu Pagoda: Stunning views and even better architecture. The Imperial Citadel: Amazing!! I’ve never seen such a beautifully restored palace. It was worth every bit of the heat. Quick Tip: The 2.5-hour drive is very comfortable and great for a nap. Definitely bring a hat and stay hydrated, as walking around the sites gets really hot. Overall, an incredible experience!

Literally could not recommend this tour highly enough. Huda was simply the BEST!! Not only was he extremely kind, friendly and approachable, but he was also genuinely such an incredible guide and speaker. He delivered such interesting tidbits of facts throughout the day without ever making it seem like a lecture the way it is in some group tours. He spoke succinctly and I feel like he gave us SUCH a good overview of Vietnamese monarchy and Hue's history. He was incredibly knowledgable! Next I want to highlight how the tour was structured. Everything was so smooth - there were plenty of breaks factored into the day since it was hot and involved a fair bit of walking, but not too much. We were never rushed, but the stops at each sight never felt too long either. I felt it was perfectly planned at each stop. The van was SO comfortable, clean and air conditioned. Shoutout to the driver too! And I just want to say - THE LUNCH THAT WAS INCLUDED WAS ONE OF THE BEST MEALS OF MY LIFE!

We had a great time with our Hue Imperial Discovery tour with our tour guide Kevin. Kevin, was very knowledgeable about Vietnam's history and he is also funny so the we never got bored during our whole trip. We also enjoyed our lunch and we love the authentic vietnamese foods. Kevin made sure that all our needs were catered well. It was a funtastic experience.

The tour was great! I love teaching my child history through real-life experiences, so this tour was incredibly meaningful. The guide was very gentle and sweet, just like Hue itself, haha.

everything good. lunch is cold and stale, no good. 😂 try afternoon tour, at least you catch sunset on boat. 9-11am at my son, so many people... had to run a little to group up again to keep to schedule. because of rice paper and boring lunch, little time at my son. because guide explaination is 60 min. 20 min walking. 20 min dance show. only 2 min left to close your eyes to feel the air and stones... because the other 18 min you have to run and rush to the other 2 sites beside the main one by speed walking. I think. if I could start over, id choose afternoon tour. because morning is so early and I did not have breakfast, so hungry. and rice paper making is a bit boring for my Chinese background plus lunch was 😕 so-so. I think it would be best to take your lunch and wake up late, relax, then do afternoon tour without the other 2 activities and no rushing plus sunset boat ride is way more beautiful... 🙃 than a 1pm ride 😅

Visiting Hue for the first time is fantastic, from the thomb of Khai, to the Perfume River, the Pagoda, the delicious lunch and lastly the Forbidden City. I love Hue so much and I have no regrets in booking this tour. Our Tour Guide Oanh is very bright, energetic and full of informations regarding the culture of the dynasty of Vietnam in Hue. we appreciate her willingness to explained all informations, the culture and its dynasties. The firbidden city is a huge place and we withnessed how rich is vietnam and also we visited the different places where the emperor, the queen and the concubines lives and also the people inside the community. We had originally booked a Chinese small-group day tour, and luckily, it ended up being just us, which made the timing much more flexible. Our guide diligently explained many details about the emperors of Hue. It was very sunny and involved a lot of walking, so remember to use sun protection and stay hydrated.
