Things to do in Hue

Good thing I was able to stretch the trip in one afternoon. I would recommend using this since it will provide one QR code applicable for all sites. First, I choose the farthest site to visit via Grab bike, Minh Mang, Khai Dinh, Tu Duc, lastly, Imperial Palace. First two was the fave, but the least liked were the last two because of pictorials with attire change. I wish they only have designated places.

Simon was our guide - clear and interesting explanation! to note that the drive to Hue is ~2 hours away with one rest stop. Attractions visited was ample to learn more about the historical importance of hue. The provided lunch was also very filling.

Sam, our tour guide, was great. He made sure we were seated on the right side of the train for the sea view. He was also knowledgeable on the history of Hue. He made sure we were always comfortable throughout the whole tour. The itinerary was also followed and we were picked up and dropped off at the exact time. I highly recommend this tour!

Had an amazing day tour to Hue exploring Vietnam's historical heritage! This was by far the best handled guided tour I've taken. Our guide, Tâm, messaged the pickup time in advance and met me right at the hotel entrance. We took the tunnel instead of the Hai Van Pass, but Tâm gave us a great history overview along the way, including a nice coffee break at a lagoon. The Highlights: Khai Dinh Tomb: Incredibly beautiful and unique architecture. Lunch: A wonderful group meal at a lovely hotel. Tâm perfectly handled my dietary restrictions. Thien Mu Pagoda: Stunning views and even better architecture. The Imperial Citadel: Amazing!! I’ve never seen such a beautifully restored palace. It was worth every bit of the heat. Quick Tip: The 2.5-hour drive is very comfortable and great for a nap. Definitely bring a hat and stay hydrated, as walking around the sites gets really hot. Overall, an incredible experience!

Had such a lovely time in Da Nang. The food was sooo good, and we were lucky to have the prettiest weather during our trip. Everything was just right, and the team was super sweet and helpful, especially when I ran into some unexpected problems. They really went out of their way to help me, and I appreciate it so much. Okay, the trip was really fun, and we got to see all of downtown Hue.

It was a wonderful experience. The scenery was breathtaking, and the breeze felt amazing. The afternoon tea was also delicious, allowing me to spend a relaxing and elegant time.

nice place, big sprawling garden around the main tomb area. it was rainy when we went so it was hard to move around as it was all open. the tomb was ok, very basic so if you prefer elaborate decors, Khai dinh would probably be best if you like ornate. they said the land was used as a second imperial city before he died. makes sense!
