- Planetarium passes are free and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. When you arrive at the Academy, scan the QR code posted in the lobby to reserve a showtime. Please note that shows may not be appropriate for children aged 0-6, and children aged 0-3 are not permitted
- Please note that the capacity for Planetarium is extremely limited. Planetarium shows may not be appropriate for children under 7, and we regret that we cannot permit any child under 4
- Guests are not required to provide proof of full vaccination or a recent negative test, but guests are strongly encouraged to stay up-to-date on their vaccinations and to mask up indoors

lots to see and experience at the California Academy of Sciences. Fantastic place for children to learn about natural history with a planetarium (running 4D immersive shows) and a rainforest with birds and butterflies all around.

Had fun going around with my dad! The difference with the LA one is that while this one doesn't have the cool NASA things, the SF one has a rainforest simulation that houses several birds and so many butterflies!

we visited one place where aquarium, planetarium, rainforest and natural history museum- all under one living roof. It has one of the most advanced and biodiverse aquariums, my kids really enjoyed it. The Osher rainforest dome is a four-story that housed in butterflies, insects and birds. And we enjoy their African museum, especially the penguins at the end of the hall.

An attraction well worth spending half a day visiting, especially if you are visiting San Francisco with kids. The facilities inside the museum are very well done and there are many things to see. There are booths in the museum where service staff explain carefully, which is especially suitable for curious children to ask questions. Booking tickets through KLook is convenient and fast. You don’t need to spend a lot of time queuing at the door. You can get the electronic ticket immediately after buying it and swipe it to enter the venue.

This was fun. When you book this make sure to have the whole day off as it will take a lot of time to go around. I don’t recommend the food tho. Personally it was expensive but you can definitely try it out if you want.
