Kuranda Koala Gardens tours

It was a little difficult to communicate since I didn't have a local mobile phone. I had to wait for the tour guide to contact me to find out the day's itinerary. Although there were some communication and arrangement issues, the tour guide responded very quickly and allowed us to successfully participate in the tour. The rainforest experience wasn't as amazing as I had imagined, but it was worth taking the cable car and train 👍🏻

This review is based on the Skyrail experience since my railroad trip was cancelled due to too much rain. the original itinerary was to take the sky rail over to Kuranda and the railroad back from Kuranda. The Skyrail ride was just OK. You got to see all the tops of the trees and maybe if the weather was nice maybe you get a better view but today I was there. It was very cloudy and it’s hard to see off to the distance.. there were some nice use of baron Falls. while I was in Kuranda, I hiked to the Barron Falls viewing point that you would see from the railroad. I believe the views from the railroad side were nicer.

We embarked on a beautiful train journey, surrounded by stunning scenic views and supported by the lovely staff who took great care of us. Upon arrival at the village, we explored the rich heritage and Aboriginal culture, which was truly fascinating. We then visited the Butterfly Sanctuary,it was absolutely magical. If you want to go for all activities and have a guide to drive you around to catch the train, performance and skyrail on time, also pickup and drop off at your hotel, this is the choice. We have had a great time!

Well-planned, the driver explained the itinerary in detail and patiently helped solve problems. The rainforest station's zoo and experience were quite interesting, but Kuranda town was a bit boring.

Had a fantastic first day exploring Cairns! :D I got to see a bit of everything and it was really informative. Our guide, Chris, took great care of everyone, always making sure everyone was accounted for before leaving. He even helped me take a photo at Campbell Lookout because he knew it was my first time in Cairns and I was traveling alone. The bus was small but comfortable for our group size, and everyone was such a fun bunch.

Big shoutout to Michael who did all the driving and tour guide stuff and prepared breakfast for us. it was no easy task driving and guiding us through locations particularly under the rain and cold. Michael was absolutely the most passionate tour guide! Even spotted wild Koalas and kangaroos!
