Things to do in Haengjusanseong Fortress

Junghee is a very friendly, enthusiastic, and fun instructor. The market tour was especially interesting, and I would highly recommend taking some extra time to explore the market on your own as well. During the class, we prepared four different Korean dishes, which felt like a complete dinner and left us very satisfied. My favorite combination was the seafood pancake paired with makgeolli—it was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who would like to learn Korean cooking in a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.

Our tour guide, Ryangho, was incredibly kind! Not only did he run ahead to secure seats for us at the Aegi Peak Starbucks, but he also took us to eat delicious Jajangmyeon. Highly recommend!

Our driver and guide Michael was the best ! He was very friendly and funny which made the journey more comfortable for us. The group was also small which made it easier to manage time and travel. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone !

What an amazing experience with Junghee at her home and the market. First, we visited the Korean market where she explained various Korean meats and vegetables while providing some street food samples. Then, we went up her beautiful apartment where she was set up for the lesson. We made chicken bulgogi, bibimbap, a tofu stew, and a Korean pancake. The class we easy to follow and Junghee’s lively nature and engagement made it fun. It was a great exposure to Korean culture through food. Highly recommend this tour.

I really enjoyed seeing North Korea from Aegibong and Eunpyeong Hanok village, and Michael our tour guide was incredible. He was funny, kind, and while we waited to eat our lunch together, he taught me some Korean too. As a solo traveller, I really appreciated how I felt included in the group and how much Michael taught me about Korea and the Korean language. I’m so glad I chose this small group tour and Michael made it a truly incredible experience.

Our tour guide, the handsome R.H. Kim Lianghao, explains local stories, has a kind and friendly service attitude, and is quite fluent in Chinese, so there's absolutely no need to worry about communication issues. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍

We were blessed with good weather and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We arrived at the Starbucks in the DMZ early in the morning, before it got crowded, and were able to take our time. Thanks to our guide, Mr. Shin, we learned a lot about Korea, which made for a different kind of trip than just shopping. I'm very grateful. I'd love to join another tour next time. I look forward to it.

The driver picked us up on time, which was good, but the driving was jerky, making me feel carsick and dizzy. The guide provided so much information that it felt overwhelming and made me uncomfortable. The locations were okay, but it was a shame that the cafe I wanted to visit was closed on Monday.
