Muir Woods National Monument tours

Muir woods, sausalito, and alcatraz were all beautiful. I appreciate the fun facts of the tour guide and the trivias. had fun listening to him. 1hr in sausalito was quick. wish we couldve spent at least 2hrs but overall the tour was nice. suggestion would be to put in the itinerary details the pick up spot

Our guide, Joe, has extensive experience and shared fascinating anecdotes about San Francisco's history, Muir Woods, and Sausalito along the way. Muir Woods is fantastic, a forest full of positive energy and phytoncides. The trails are very accessible; for those who exercise regularly or enjoy hiking, it's just a leisurely forest walk, also suitable for seniors and children. You have the option to take a ferry back to San Francisco from Sausalito for an additional fee. We highly recommend taking the ferry back, as it offers stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. Remember to choose the right side of the deck on the return trip for the best scenery! Upon arrival at the Ferry Building, you'll find a clean and beautiful indoor food court where you can relax and refresh.

I'm so glad I joined this tour 🧳. Originally, we were supposed to go to Muir Woods National Monument, but due to Trump's policies, the first attraction was changed to Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. The scenery was also very beautiful. The second attraction was a trip to Sausalito, where we saw a beautiful seaside town and enjoyed the sea breeze, which was also very charming 👍👍👍. Although the itinerary was changed, it was still a different experience 👍.

Wonderful tour! Muir Woods was beautiful and the whole trip was well organized. Our guide Antony was excellent,very friendly and shared many interesting stories. Whenever we passed a place, he explained its history, which made the trip very lively. He also never rushed us. Highly recommended!

The trip was absolutely worth it. Entry to Alcatraz is done via QR code only. The tour includes a stop beneath the Golden Gate Bridge, which is perfect for photos. The schedule was well planned, with just the right amount of time at each stop. Muir Woods was truly magnificent.

this tour is worth your money as it makes touring sfo very convenient. the places we went to are also advisable to be reached via taxis/uber, so this is a great buy. only downside is that the time allotted is very limited. it feels rushed. other than that, all went well.

Muir Woods is cool and beautiful in the morning. Walking among the giant coastal redwood is amazing, reminding us the beauty of nature. Then, we had a short trip to Sausalito where we had a quick walk around and lunch (on our own). Appreciate the guide who gives us good tips on what to see and where to eat.

I’m in awe with the efforts made by the Muir Woods National Monuments in preserving this natural treasures. Coast redwood is the tallest tree in the world at the moment!
