What to expect
Cross San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge on your way to Muir Woods. Begin your tour by taking in the skyline of San Francisco, the Bay, and Alcatraz Island as you stop for photos and admire the bridge.
Then, head to Muir Woods National Monument. Pass by Mount Tamalpais and the coastal route along the Marin Headlands. Reach Muir Woods and enjoy a stroll to soak up the atmosphere. Follow winding trails and admire the flora and fauna.
Next, visit the Mediterranean-style seaside town of Sausalito. Walk around the picturesque town and pass by shops and cafes lining the waterfront. See repurposed working boats and vessels dating back to World War II!
From here, choose to explore more of Sausalito, take the ferry back, or get dropped off in San Francisco.

I really like this tour as we were given time on our own to explore. The tour was really our driver who brought us there and back. The rest of the time is free and easy. Love that as someone who can’t drive and public transport was not an option.
Enjoyed the tour with guide Katja. Lovely woods and Sausalito with a bonus stop along the way close to the Golden Gate bridge.
We joined the tour departing at 1:00 PM on June 18th, but the meeting point emailed to us was incorrect. We arrived at the designated location half an hour early, but no tour guide appeared. After contacting them, we had to pay extra for an Uber to rush to the vicinity of the Palace of Fine Arts. We are grateful to the tour guide and other travelers for waiting for us for half an hour. We hope such errors will not happen again in the future. Thank you.

- If you select the 08:30am departure time, your meeting point is at Union Square (488 Post St. - Cafe Encore) Look for a black Mercedes sprinter van parked across the street.
- If you select the 12:50pm departure time, your meeting point is at Pier 33
