Halona Blowhole Lookout

Halona Blowhole Lookout is a must-see natural wonder on Oahu’s southeastern coast, formed thousands of years ago by volcanic eruptions. When strong ocean waves caused by northeastern trade winds hit the shore, they push water into an underwater lava tube. This makes the water shoot up into the air, creating the famous Hālona blowhole. From the lookout point, you’ll get breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, the rugged rock formations, and Halona Beach Cove, also called Eternity Beach, made famous by scenes from From Here to Eternity and 50 First Dates. You can also spot humpback whales, sea turtles, or brave locals at Sandy Beach Park, known for its high surf and body surfing. While you’re here, you’ll see why it’s one of Oahu’s top natural wonders; just keep a safe distance, as dangerous currents and sudden waves show the ocean’s power up close. Plan your Hawaii trip today and add Halona Blowhole Lookout to your itinerary!

Great 4.0
the staff was very friendly and welcoming. we were greeted with Kukai nut necklace. we bought the premium package and it was in the middle idle, we were able to watch the performance perfectly fine. in terms of the dances, many different dances were performed but they don’t explain too much about each dance so it’s gets boring very quickly. i wish they could share a bit more background history about the tribe of each dance. Out of the performances, only the women hula dance the last fire dance was interesting to watch. on google review, it was rating 4.9/5 but honesty speaking I would only give it a 3.5/5. The buffet was also very average tasting. i would not do it again but it was a one time experience. the staff was very helpful and kind though.

Amazing show, beautiful singing and great performances. Food was good. There was no transportation, even though ticket stated pick up from Hotel, had to find my own way to the Aloha Towers

Had a good time in Koalua Ranch thanks to Amelia our guide and Val. The weather when we went there is sunny, cloudy and rainy which add to the adventure. The scenery and stories behind it is amazing. A must do when in Hawaii.

The young, beautiful woman who accompanied me was very kind and helpful. It was my first time riding a horse, and I was scared, but I managed to complete the ride and return safely.

I haven't tried the UTV, but I think this was better. It was so great. You can ignore the people who make a fuss about the helmet smell and you don't need to bring a handkerchief. No foreigners use them. And the product description here says to wear long pants, so I did, but no foreigners wore them. The product description should be revised. The instructors were friendly, safe, and fun.

Fantastic 5.0
I loveeeee the view and everything in the set. but the tour was kinda of a rush. i think we needed more time for photos and or at least to cherish every thing in the tour. because not all people are privileged enough to redo the same tour. WE-NEED-TIME... its a tour. oh and we started late. that's why. tsk tsk. the tour guide was great tho. he was humorous and knowledgeable. Just in a rush.

What to know before visiting Honolulu

Quick snapshot of Honolulu County and what to expect

Honolulu County is a sunny getaway centred on tours, outdoor & sports activities, museums and cruises, with water activities also popular. Klook booking trends show a strong mid-summer peak in demand, while other parts of the year see noticeably fewer visitors.

When to visit and how prices move through the year

Demand peaks in July and hits a trough in January according to Klook booking data. Prices, however, do not exactly mirror demand: Klook data shows July is typically the cheapest month for prices, while February tends to be the priciest. If you want lower prices and smaller crowds, consider travelling in July when Klook bookings are high but prices are typically lower; for classic peak-season atmosphere aim for July as the busiest month or February if your priority is experiencing a pricier, less budget-oriented period. Overall, price and demand diverge at times—July is a notable example where demand is high but prices on Klook are typically lower than in other months.

Tips for travellers

Most travellers book activities about two weeks in advance, with last-minute bookings possible within a few days but early planners locking in plans a bit earlier. If you prefer flexibility, many popular tours and outdoor activities still allow bookings close to travel, but during the busiest month named above consider reserving 2–6 weeks ahead to secure preferred time slots. Use Klook to compare activity types and timing so you can pick options that fit your schedule and budget.
