Fantastic 5.0
It was quite a drive to get there, but it was a pleasant one. We had a fun and informative experience making traditional Balinese food, accompanied by friendly small talk in a welcoming atmosphere. We went to the market, where we learned a lot about unfamiliar fruits we'd never seen before. It was especially interesting to taste snake fruit, which has different flavors depending on its size. We had to prepare nine dishes, so there was quite a lot to do. It was enjoyable to chop, stir-fry, and handle the ingredients while listening to explanations, making the whole process far from boring. Highly recommended!

Truly wonderful service! 👍👍👍 The Japanese-speaking guide, Sirma, speaks very good Japanese, and is a bright, extremely charming woman ♥️♥️♥️ In the car on the way, we had a lively chat sharing personal stories (laughs). The itinerary I planned was: swing at Uma Pakel (noted as U fanfield) -> purification experience at Pura Tirta Empul -> Ubud Palace -> shopping spree for souvenirs at Bintang Supermarket 😆🎶 This took up almost the entire 10 hours. Especially at Pura Tirta Empul, as a first-time tourist, I wouldn't have known the proper timing for offerings or worship etiquette, but Sirma taught me everything, took lots of photos and videos during the purification ritual, and even let me participate in prayers inside the main hall where only devout local believers were present. Thanks to Sirma, I had a very meaningful time 😃💕✨ If you are planning a purification ritual at Pura Tirta Empul, I highly recommend joining this tour! ‼️ Thank you so much, Sirma 🎵 I love you! 😍💓💓

We had an amazing time with De Batur! We made 4 stops plus 3 side quests. He took us to Baturiti Luwak Coffee where we received a class on a local coffee plantation and drank so many samples. We also made a quick stop to see the monkeys on the side of the road. I highly recommend this trip!

We joined the market visit at 8am, interesting to see themlocal traditional markets and some of their ingredients. Back at the hotel, our cooking class was held in a sheltered place, but with padi field all around and good breeze. Chef Budi and assistant Monika took good care of us. We cooked a Balinese sauce/seasoning to stir fry some minced chicken to make a salad. The same sauce was used to season fish for steaming, wrapped in banana leaves. It was grilled to give extra flavour. Rest of the minced chicken was seasoned before putting them on sticks to grill over coconut shell charcoal. For dessert we made oandan thin pancakes with gula melaka/coconut as fillings. Overall excellent experience and enjoyed the cooking class and dining what we prepared. Strongly recommend.

Our guide, Dana, was so great on the Nusa Penida tour that we booked again, and Dana was our guide once more! They recommended a beautiful cafe in Kintamani and provided excellent explanations of temples and waterfalls, which helped us understand the culture well. We also got to experience Indonesian coffee, which was a wonderful experience! We'll definitely use this service again.

Fantastic 5.0
I wholeheartedly recommend Driver WIDI! We initially booked a tour for just one day, but after spending a day with him, we were so satisfied that we extended our itinerary, and ended up accompanying Driver WIDI for a total of three days. I understand that you can't directly choose a specific driver when booking through the Klook app. However, if you open the confirmation message file that comes via KakaoTalk after booking and scroll to the very bottom, you'll find a WhatsApp contact. That number belongs to Driver WIDI's supervisor, and it seems possible that if you request to be assigned Driver WIDI before a driver is allocated after your booking, your request might be accommodated. To briefly introduce Driver WIDI, first of all, his Korean is incredibly fluent, to the point where he can even crack jokes in Korean. He also mentioned that he's been a driver for about 20 years now. Most importantly, the driver was incredibly kind. Even when we capriciously changed our schedule during the trip, he always responded kindly and even recommended and guided us to better places. The interior of the car was also very clean. As you can see in the photos, tissues were always provided, and a bottle of water was prepared in advance for each of us every day. Of course, I believe other drivers might also take photos for you during your trip and accompany you to places that require caution, like the Monkey Temple. But somehow... Driver WIDI is truly warm-hearted, and he takes photos with great enthusiasm, lol. We were so grateful throughout the trip for the excellent photos he took. This is why we extended our one-day tour to three days to stay with Driver WIDI. If you're planning a trip to Bali, I highly recommend booking quickly and making sure you get Driver WIDI! Thanks to such a wonderful driver, we were able to have a more enjoyable and comfortable trip.😊

What to know about Ubud Market

Ubud Traditional Art Market, or Pasar Seni Ubud, is the main art market and most popular art market in Bali, and it’s even appeared in the movie Eat, Pray, Love! Ubud Traditional Art Market is one of the best Ubud Bali markets aside from Sukawati Art Market, selling a variety of authentic and artisanal goods by local artisans. Ubud Market offers Balinese-style paintings, unique silk scarves, handmade crockery, and woven baskets—perfect as a souvenir of Bali to bring home to your loved ones. Head to the market’s east for a more traditional Indonesian experience, where you’ll find locals buying fresh produce and groceries. If you want to learn more about the market and Balinese crafts, be sure to join a local market tour, which typically includes other top Bali attractions. Most of the goods found at the Ubud Market are made in the neighboring villages of Pengosekan, Tegallalang, Payangan, and Peliatan. The location of the Ubud Art Market, which is centered among the art-producing villages and at the center of Ubud itself, makes it a strategic shopping place for Balinese handicrafts and souvenirs.
