location is easy to find. The show is the history between good a d evil. Outdoor venue so bring your bug spray. Go to the venue to tour during 9-5 as its beautiful and not available to tour during the show hours.
It's a little far from the center, so it's best to get there by Grab or Gojek. If you go about an hour before the show starts, you can get a seat near the front. It doesn't have an entertainment feel, but it has a nice traditional atmosphere. There are fewer customers than at Uluwatu Temple, so you can enjoy the show at your leisure.
It's been a while since I last saw the Kecak Dance at Peliatan Palace, but I was impressed by the high level of performance. It's a little difficult to get to from the center of Ubud, but I think it's worth the effort to go.
The dance in itself was mesmerizing but the description on klook was wrong. There was only kecak dance but no fire dance. Please double check before booking as fire dance is not available in all venues.
The show may not be a grand spectacle, but it truly feels like a breath of fresh air. What makes it especially touching is knowing that by purchasing a ticket, you’re also supporting the local community. The performers are locals residing near the Peliatan Royal Palace, and the experience feels almost otherworldly as hundreds of men chant and pray in unison. It’s both cultural and spiritual at the same time. This is definitely a must-see when visiting Bali—whether you experience it in Uluwatu Temple, Ubud Palace, or here in Peliatan. Lastly, you can have photos with performers with no extra charge. Just don't forget to tell them how you appreciate their performance. 👍
The performance was interesting and attractive. The performers were also good. The ambience successfully conveyed the impression of mysticism.
I recommend you go and see it. If you want to get the best seats in the front row, with a roof that will protect you from rain, I strongly recommend that you go 1.5 hours before the show starts and secure your seat. And insect repellent spray or mist is a must. Don't forget! At the end, you can take photos with the performers freely. If you manage to get a front row seat, hurry up and get close to the performers so you can take photos right away. I recommend calling a grab bike or grab car on the way back.
This is one of the most spectacular art performances I have ever seen, this is a must see event
It rained during the performance, so I think the show ended a little early. I don't think I saw the fire dance. It seemed like a difficult show. I read the story, but I didn't really understand it. I only remember the fact that everyone was acting like they were fools.
It was my first time to watch the local traditional fire dance show in Bali. The show was held in the courtyard of Pura Dalem Temple. The staff were very enthusiastic and would hold up the indicator lights at the entrance of the temple to clear the way for you to cross the road safely. The one-hour fire dance show was divided into three parts. You can watch it online while learning about it. The visual effect was pretty good, but unfortunately there were not many torch-waving performances.
