Our tour guide, Mr. Zhang, was very responsible, friendly, and punctual. He explained the history and ecology of Victoria Peak to us, allowing us to learn a great deal about it while enjoying the scenery.

The surface of Cuifeng Lake is like a mirror, reflecting the mountains and clouds. The trees are lush and green, and the sounds of cicadas and birds intertwine. Occasionally, a nimble yellow-throated marten can be seen darting through the woods, bringing the area to life. Taipingshan Villa is surrounded by rich green forests, dotted with maple leaves. A gentle breeze blows, clouds drift by, and sunlight filters through the treetops, casting layers of light and shadow, showcasing the fresh and tranquil beauty of the early summer mountains.

It took about an hour and a bit to get to Taipingshan from Yilan. We rode the Bong Bong Train, visited the Jiancing Historic Trail, and went to Jiuzize Hot Springs. The weather was great today, and we even saw a sea of clouds. The driver was very punctual, and the overall experience was excellent.

Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area offers excellent air quality within its forests. The forest trails are well-maintained, and all facilities are in good condition. The environment is kept neat, clean, and tidy.

The Jiu-Zhi-Ze hot spring in the Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area is truly a fantastic experience! The stone landscaping of the public bath is very distinctive and blends perfectly with the surrounding mountain scenery, making it especially relaxing to soak in. Besides the hot spring bath, the most interesting thing is cooking with the hot spring! The corn and hot spring eggs cooked with high-temperature hot spring water have an excellent taste, and the hot spring eggs are delicious with a little salt. Being able to enjoy a great hot spring and taste hot spring delicacies cooked by yourself is truly a very healing and special trip.
