Things to do in Water Running Upward

This was a fantastic and very tourist-friendly way to experience Taitung for those of us who didn't want to drive and weren't familiar with the area! Our driver was polite, humorous, and very knowledgeable about all the attractions, introducing them and telling us stories along the way! The photos we took are wonderful souvenirs. The only thing is that as Taipei residents, we were truly moved by Taitung's unique blue skies, but also a bit dizzy from the intense Taitung sun. Our clothes never really dried, but thankfully the car was very cool, allowing us to rest between each stop before continuing our adventure. It was super great!

The scenery was beautiful, and our driver, Mr. Luo, was witty and humorous, providing detailed explanations. The itinerary was well-paced without feeling rushed, making it highly recommended.

The communication a day before the tour was great. Klook rep contacted via whatsapp and Guide 陈先生 followed up with the contact. Guide was early and explained the itinerary before our set off, it ended up as a private tour was there wasn’t anyone else. 陈 took us on a relaxed and chilled ride, introducing us to the scenic spots and the way of life in taitung. Joining the trip from Taitung was a great choice for a relaxing holiday. We visited several iconic spots in the valley with breathtaking views of the rice fields and mountains. The guide was very friendly and introduced us to some amazing local delicacies. The van was comfortable, making the whole journey stress-free and enjoyable. Perfect for anyone looking to enjoy Taitung's scenery without the hassle of planning!

We enjoyed our informative tour with Xiao Hei/Black the other day. He drove us to some interesting places connected to the history and culture of his people, and we learned a lot. Xiao Hei was very helpful - we didn't have a car, so he taught us to take the train to the nearest station. Thank you for teaching us about your people, Xiao Hei!

We are very grateful for the option of having a tour for two people, which allowed us, a single adult and child, to deeply explore the Luan Shan Tribe and discover its hidden gems. The guided tour and explanations were very detailed, giving us a deeper understanding of Bunun culture. The VR experience was so much fun! My child absolutely loved it. The slate house experience was excellent because it was just the two of us without other tour groups, making for a very high-quality trip. The meals were also exquisite and delicious. It was a very unique and memorable experience!

Our tour guide, Brother Luo, is a local from Taitung, making the explanations and tour very in-depth. When my parents suddenly wanted coconut water, he even took us to a great little stall he knew for fresh coconut water (that day, we were the only family, so the itinerary could be flexible). I hope the owner can also sell this activity on KKDay, as Klook's after-sales service is concerning. Itinerary: Very detailed, traveling without a car is truly convenient. Tour Guide: Witty and humorous, he knows all the interesting facts about Taitung and even introduced us to must-try spots in the city.
