Chengdu Day trips

Bipenggou is a very beautiful place where you can see lakes, mountains, and snow all in one location. We were quite lucky because it wasn’t too crowded on 12/29 (we heard that 1/1 or 1/2 was totally chaotic and overcrowded because of the public holiday). It’s just a pity that we only had 3–4 hours there (the total round-trip bus ride inside took about 1.5–2 hours), so we had less than 2 hours to actually explore and enjoy the place. By the time we arrived at the last spot, we only had about 5 minutes before we had to line up again to take the bus back. I would have preferred to spend an extra 30–40 minutes in Bipenggou and skip the Tibetan farmhouse instead. Ps: it was very cold at that time (12/29), so we really recommend you to buy oxygen outside the gate on winter season. we got headache, nosebleed after we went back to the city

I must give a big thumbs up to the trip managers! They were extremely thoughtful throughout the journey, patiently answering all kinds of questions and even planning the sightseeing routes in advance to avoid backtracking, which saved us a lot of time. During the trip, they also carefully reminded everyone to keep their personal belongings with them and stay hydrated, taking care of us just like friends. There were no shopping stops or hidden tricks the entire time, making us feel really at ease. Such a great service experience has made my impression of this trip even more wonderful.

Our tour guide was so enthusiastic and energetic, it was the perfect energy we needed to endure the very cold, snowy weather! It was a beautiful tour and very worth it! The bus seats were also very comfortable so the long rides didn’t even feel that long. Thank you for a great experience!! Highly recommend!

Saw the pandas up close and the park wasn't overly crowded. Our driver/guide showed us around Dujiangyan, sharing the history of the place. He was patient and flexible throughout the trip. we enjoyed the experience although there was quite a bit of walking.

Our guide 四羊开泰, he's very organized, expert and professional in handling our trip yesterday. He gave us his tips to get the best views and communicated clearly and effectively. Highly recommended to get his guidance and service.

Came to Xiling Snow Mountain for a day trip with the kids, and they had a blast! Snowmobiles, banana boats, building snowmen – there were so many activities to choose from. The facilities in the scenic area are excellent, and there are hot drinks for sale in the rest area, so it wasn't cold at all. The tour guide followed us the whole time, helping us watch our luggage and take photos. The service was super attentive. We'll definitely come again!

Choosing the Dujiangyan + Panda Valley route for a day trip around Chengdu was really wise! We departed from Chengdu in the morning and arrived at the Dujiangyan scenic area in about an hour's drive. Following the guide's explanation, we learned about the ingenious design of the millennium-old water conservancy project. Watching the river rushing down, I couldn't help but admire the wisdom and hard work of the ancients. The three main projects of Yuzui (Fish Mouth), Feishayan (Flying Sand Weir), and Baopingkou (Treasure Bottle Neck) cooperated with each other to perfectly solve the problems of irrigation and flood control, which is amazing. At noon, we tasted the local specialties in Dujiangyan city, especially rabbit head and Cong Cong Juan (scallion rolls), which tasted very good. In the afternoon, we went to the Panda

It was a very nice experience. It was low season, so there was less crowd and we were able to travel at a more leisurely pace. The whole trip was very well organised and everything went smoothly. The tour guide (谢导游) communicated all the key points clearly, and was very friendly overall. Definitely would recommend this trip to anyone who wants a hassle free trip.

overall is good. the tour guide and driver are polite and supportive. even the road is slippery and covered with ice and snow resulting in delay almost 2 hours but they allow us to enjoy full time. definitely recommend the tour.
