We had a great experience with our guide, Yuan Juan. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very organised, making the trip smooth and enjoyable for everyone. There were no shopping stops, so we could fully focus on sightseeing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. She also shared interesting history and stories about both sites and helped everyone take nice photos. As it is a long travel journey, I would recommend upgrading to the first-class bus for a more comfortable ride. Having a WeChat account is also helpful for easier communication with the local guide and pick-up driver. The weather at Mt Emei can be unpredictable, so it is best to go well prepared.

Emei Mountain and Leshan Giant Buddha One-Day Tour: Efficiently check in at two major scenic spots and have a great experience! Depart from Chengdu at 7:00 AM, and after about a two-hour drive, arrive at the Leshan Giant Buddha. The tour guide has already purchased the tickets in advance, so there's no need to queue; directly enter the scenic area. Slowly walk down the plank road and experience the magnificence of the Giant Buddha up close. The river is surging, and the Giant Buddha is built against the mountain, with a majestic momentum. The tour guide's explanation is very detailed, allowing me to understand the history and construction process of the Giant Buddha. It takes about 20 minutes to walk the plank road without rushing. At noon, taste the local specialty, "Qiaojiao Beef," which is delicious and plentiful. In the afternoon, head to Emei Mountain and take a sightseeing bus and cable car directly to the Golden Summit. The scenery along the way is beautiful, with lush vegetation and fresh air. Upon reaching the Golden Summit, clouds and mist swirl around, and the Samantabhadra statue is solemn and respectful, inspiring awe. Enjoy the beautiful scenery at the Golden Summit, take many photos, and start the return journey around 4:00 PM, arriving back in Chengdu around 7:00 PM. The entire itinerary is compact but not rushed. The tour guide is professional, and the driver drives smoothly. It's really worth it to check in at two major attractions in one day!

Finally checked off Mount Emei and Leshan Giant Buddha from my list! The one-day tour was packed, but I enjoyed every attraction to the fullest. The Leshan Giant Buddha is truly breathtaking. Standing on the plank road and looking up at the Buddha, the sense of majesty is overwhelming. The details of the Buddha's carvings are exquisite and awe-inspiring. In the afternoon, we went to Mount Emei, taking the cable car up the mountain. The scenery along the way was beautiful, with lush vegetation and fresh air. The view from the Golden Summit was absolutely stunning. The magnificent temple sparkled in the sunlight, and the Samantabhadra Bodhisattva statue was solemn and sacred. When the sea of clouds swirled around, it felt like being in a fairyland. The tour guide was very professional and gave lively explanations, sharing many interesting legends and stories with us. Dining within the scenic area was also convenient, with reasonable prices and good taste. There were no hidden costs throughout the entire trip, and transportation was smooth. It was very convenient to travel back and forth from Chengdu, definitely an amazing travel experience!

The one-day tour of Emei Mountain and Leshan was arranged so reasonably! Departing from Chengdu in the morning, we first went to Leshan to see the Giant Buddha. The route within the scenic area was well-planned, so you don't have to backtrack too much. Following the plank road down, you can appreciate the Buddha's magnificence up close. The Giant Buddha is 71 meters high and carved into the mountain, making you admire the wisdom and craftsmanship of the ancients. In the afternoon, we went to Mount Emei, taking a sightseeing bus and cable car up the mountain, which saved a lot of energy. After reaching the Golden Summit, seeing the golden and magnificent Samantabhadra statue, I instantly felt my soul purified. The view from the Golden Summit is very broad, overlooking the mountains, and if you are lucky, you can see the sea of clouds, which is so beautiful. The tour guide's explanation throughout the tour was detailed. They introduced us to the history and culture of the Giant Buddha and Mount Emei, allowing us to have a deeper understanding of the attractions. Transportation was very convenient, and the round trip to Chengdu wasn't too long. There was no forced consumption, and the price-performance ratio was very high. Highly recommended!

This special forces-style day trip starts with a 5:30 AM meeting and ends around 8:30 PM. Our guide for this trip was Zhou Wei. The night before, he sent a message with the meeting location and time. He's a very funny guide, so the trip was never dull. He also provided detailed historical information about all the landmarks. Despite the poor weather, including light rain and heavy fog, Xiao Zhou patiently led everyone through the entire itinerary. We were lucky enough to reach the Golden Summit and see the golden Buddha, and even caught a glimpse of the sun. This just goes to show that if you persevere and maintain a positive attitude, everything will be alright. Thanks to the guide, driver, and travel agency for organizing this special day trip.

Though it was a touch and go tour, we still managed to cover quite a lot of the scenery. Glad that the Leshan Buddha was a boat ride so not tired for the legs. The Emei Mountain has a lot of climbing going towards the cable car station. I have a weak heart so had to slow down during the climb. Our tour guide, 胡静, was very concerned about my condition and paid attention to my needs. She also advised the rest of the group not to over strain ourselves as the air is thin and some people might develop altitude sickness.

Just wanted to share some details for some clarity because we had the same questions before so this can be for those who are keen too. This klook tour is probably run by the local agencies, so don't be amazed if you are the only group of foreigner(s). The rest of them are likely locals who comes from other parts of China. The option of Nanny Van is an upgraded coach, which definitely feels more spacious and comfortable. Size of your group would probably be about 30 pax. They will organize pick up (car/van) to fetch you to a meetup point where everyone gets on to their assigned coach for the day. For drop off, they will choose a location in the city area, near to a train station. We had a wonderful experience in both Leshan and Emei. Our guide, Hu Jie, is such a knowledgeable and humorous guy! A lot of people would comment that one day trip is abit too rushed, but we felt it was just nice, though we had a very long day. (5am to 9pm) Do give this a try! It is really worth it!
