The tour was conducted in Chinese, which I didn’t know beforehand, haha! So I couldn’t really understand any of the explanations since everything was in Chinese. Other than that, I’m still glad I joined this tour because visiting these three destinations on my own would have been quite difficult. Overall, it was a convenient way to see all three places in one day!

For families traveling to Japan with both seniors and children, chartering a car is the most convenient option. Our driver, Mr. Cui, was very thoughtful. He helped us adjust our initial itinerary into a smoother route and took us to restaurants that only locals know about. Highly recommend!

This pass was really great value for money and I used it well. It's excellent for the price, and I'd love to visit Shikoku again in the second half of the year. Although some people might not know, you can use it on all buses except for a few in very rural areas, and seating is generally open.

I was able to efficiently visit Matsuyama Station, Shimonada Station, Uchiko Station, and Iyo-Ozu Station by carefully checking the train schedule. It would have been even better if it hadn't rained. It's a shame I couldn't fully explore Ozu Castle due to my flight schedule, as there was a gap of over two hours between trains from Ozu Station.

Traveling with family this time made our itinerary much more flexible. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to the San'in-San'yo or Shikoku regions. The hotel's location right next to the JR station is excellent for travelers using a rail pass, offering convenient transportation. The service and cleanliness are also very good. However, the breakfast is just okay and only served until 10:00 AM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. Overall, if you have a generous budget, this hotel is a good choice. If you're looking to save some money, you might consider the inn next door.
