Tour guide: When planning the trip, I inquired with several travel companies, specifically asking if they had female guides. Klook recommended Sister Mei to us, saying that customers who had been with her thought she was exceptionally good. So, after comparing several options, we embarked on a five-day, four-night journey with Sister Mei as our driver. Unexpectedly, Sister Mei turned out to be a fantastic guide – patient, meticulous, conscientious, and responsible. She took everyone's feelings into account and took care of us without us having to say much. Sister Mei thoughtfully prepared fruits, snacks, and local delicacies for us. She never rushed us, cared about whether we were warm enough, and demonstrated excellent driving skills on difficult roads. I knew choosing a female driver and female guide wouldn't be a mistake!

The tour was very well arranged, with Tom coordinating everything through WeChat. The driver picked us up early at 6.30am to avoid the crowds. First, we went to pick up the oxygen bottles before proceeding to the first location, blue moon valley, reaching at approximately 7.15-7.30am. En route, we saw huge crowds queuing for tickets. Once we reached blue moon valley, the driver did not follow us in but gave us very detailed instructions on what to do. We also paid for the mini shuttles to bring us around (~40 yuan). After that, we were supposed to meet the driver at the tourist centre but as the rest of my group have not returned, my guide instructed me to head up to the mountain first. Again, he sent specific instructions and the QR code which will be used for the cable car rides and the Lijiang impression performance. Overall, the itinerary was well-planned and there were sufficient time for us to explore the places on our own and the whole process was seamless.

Made a very last-minute booking, hoping to catch the golden sunrise on the snow mountains in winter, and it was totally worth it. Itinerary: The arrangement was very smooth and seamless. Even in just a few days, I got a clear understanding of the Lijiang-Shangri-La route. Tour Guide: The driver was very enthusiastic and professional, very familiar with the route; every day he helped us arrange the entry and exit times, and provided us with a lot of travel advice, which was a great help for us first-time visitors. Accommodation Choice: I experienced hotels/B&Bs with different advantages for four days, and rested very well. Attractions: The Baima Snow Mountain hike was the highlight of this trip, led by a very capable guide. It was my first time challenging a high altitude, wild route, and the moment the snow mountain appeared in front of me, I felt that all the bumps along the way were worth it.

A Day Trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain My group tour to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain took a nice turn, thanks to a flexible plan. Our Grand Cableway ride was supposed to be in the morning, but it got rescheduled to the afternoon. Our guide quickly adjusted the itinerary—we visited Blue Moon Valley first, then the cableway. The valley’s turquoise water, like liquid jade, was breathtaking; we walked the boardwalk and laughed at the icy stream. By 2 PM, we took the cableway up. The snow-dusted peaks against the blue sky made the thin air feel worth it. We snapped photos and enjoyed the quiet grandeur. Our driver waited patiently whenever we lingered, and the customer service team had confirmed the change earlier, keeping everything smooth. Tired but happy by evening, the schedule shift only made the day better. Great service and stunning views—this trip will stay with me.

My friend and I had this roadtrip in the 4th week of November 2025. It was one of the most amazing roadtrips I ever had. We don't even speak Chinese, but brother Cola made it smooth even with the translator app. He is attentive and also good at taking photos. We visited all the places mentioned in the Klook itinerary and also stopped at some viewing platforms along the way. Even play with the snow while taking a break from driving. As for meals, all lunches and dinners were at our own expense, while breakfasts were in the hotel restaurant, a tea/coffee in HalfWay cafe was included. Since it's the 2 of us, brother Cola picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel instead of a random location. The itinerary planner person will let us know the weather, temperature and destination the night before. They will also adjust the plan depending on the situation. However, the executioner is brother Cola, and he will make sure the experience is top-notch. We also love his car! Highly recommended!

Tiger Leaping Gorge, Shangri-La, and Songzanlin Monastery were all great. The ethnic dance and performance I saw while having lunch after the Dukezong and Buckwheat Fields tour were especially impressive.

Solo traveling has a lot of limitations, so booking this tour was really great value for the money. Since there wasn't a tour guide, the driver and master were local Naxi people who took this group of a few people and introduced the scenery and customs of Lijiang and Shangri-La along the way. His driving skills were truly first-class, safe and stable 👍🏻. The itinerary was rich but not too tiring, with enough time for us to slowly acclimatize to the high altitude. I would join again next time I come to Yunnan 👍🏻.

Decent local cuisines served in emperor banquet style. Fascinating lightings and beautiful dancing performances. the Location is quite secluded, which is at the Dongba valley, about 30 mins from the town but overall still worth a visit. Recommended! (non halal)

Our guide 阿东 was a warm and friendly guide who made our experience so pleasant. He took time to tell us more about Yunnan, and made an effort to get to know us too. He was accommodative to our needs, and was intentional in taking many great shots of us along the way too! Would totally recommend his service to anyone who wants to join this tour in future.
