Tiger Leaping Gorge & Haba Snow Mountain Full-Day Small Group Adventure

Driver called us to confirm time for pick up 1 day b4. Our tour has 6 pax. we managed to go to all the attractions listed in the itinerary. Time given per attraction is more than enough. love the horse ride, I strongly recommend to pay extra for the horse ride at Yila grassland. Lunch was provided and it was hosted by the local Tibetian tribe. Very entertaining with their cultural dance, singing and hospitability! Compliment to our friendly driver, 赖师傅.

Beautiful highland scenery along the route. The lunch is mediocre with only beef and vegetable. The most unworthy site for this trip is the Haba plain site where one need to pay to ride horse to enjoy the scenery as the area are fully blocked by wall.

We had a wonderful one-day tour from Lijiang to Shangri-La. The itinerary was very rich, covering Tiger Leaping Gorge, Napa Lake, Songzanlin Temple, Dukezong Ancient Town, and more. Our driver-guide 小河 was professional, friendly, and very attentive throughout the trip. He shared helpful tips along the way, ensured our safety, and gave us enough time to enjoy each stop. It was a long journey but very well arranged. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore the highlights of Shangri-La in a day!

with so many places, we thought it was rushing. but the pace was just enough time to explore. pick up was ard 6:10am and the drop off was 6+pm at night

Guide provided pick up and drop off from hotel near the lijiang old town. was relatively friendly and helpful. Tour provided a good overview of the different landscapes in shangrila, woth enough time allocated at each location. landscapes were beautiful. One thing to note is that the tour operator grouped people with different itineraries on the same van. The guide asked if we can skip the temple visit as the others would have to wait on the van and return to li jiang much later if we wanted to go. No issue to skip for us as we were quite tired already, we were then refunded 80 yuan. I think we also didn't make it to the flower field. Good trip overall but just to note these points.

This full day tour (630 am to 7pm) is highly recommended. I thought the itinerary will not be suitable for my 7 year old because the trip included two monasteries but I was so wrong. She had so much fun at the gorge, doing horse riding on the grassland (40 mins!), cradling the baby goats, and taking pictures with the yak. The traditional tibetan lunch and performance was also eye opening. this day trip to Shangri la to experience the Tibetan culture is definitely a must do when you come to Lijiang! the guide was so passionate in sharing his culture so us so that was very precious as well!

I had a great full-day trip to the magnificent Tiger Leaping Gorge and Shangri-La. The driver was very skilled and kindly provided pick-up and drop-off service right in front of the hotel, which was convenient. He also gave detailed explanations at each tourist spot, and I was grateful to be able to tour safely from 6 AM to 9 PM. The included lunch was a fun experience with a minority ethnic dance performance. Thank you to Klook for providing such a great tour package.

I don't recommend it at all. If you join a group tour, you need to follow the same route as others, because it is possible that the tour you choose is different from others. The minority can only obey the majority, so you will not be able to go to several places (although the tour guide will still refund part of the money for the tour you didn't go to, but the tour is very tight and it is not worth it at all). There are some extra fees, which are okay, not too expensive, just an experience. The most unforgivable thing is the tour guide, who has been morally blackmailing passengers. I won't talk about other trivial matters. I asked the tour guide if he could drop me off at a nearby location on the return trip, and he didn't want to send me off. It was very troublesome. As for the other passengers, they came to vote and let us obey the majority, which made us all very embarrassed. It was obviously a nearby location, but he didn't want to bother. I don't recommend it at all. If you add a little more for this price, you can find a personal tour guide, and the experience is not good at all. The food looks good, but it is actually very bad, because you eat what the previous customer couldn't finish. I saw with my own eyes that they recycled the meat we couldn't finish, and put it back in the refrigerator after collecting it. If you want to recycle it, at least don't let the customers see it.

This is a cost-effective product that allows you to explore Tiger Leaping Gorge and Shangri-La by car for a day. However, since the tour is conducted in Chinese, it seems only suitable for those who can speak Chinese.
