Experience: I strongly recommend their gold package. You’ll receive a exclusive pad with an e-tour guide and AI illustrations showing how the building used to look. The gold pass also grants access to more must-see places, especially if you’re a first-time visitor to Barcelona. Don’t miss the chance to visit during the day; the building’s vibrant colours and numerous coloured glasses are truly stunning.

Park Güell, designed by the modernist architect Antoni Gaudí, is Barcelona, Spain's most iconic World Heritage Site. Originally intended as a failed "garden city" private luxury residential area, it later transformed into a whimsical public park. The park is a must-visit attraction for anyone traveling to Barcelona, featuring natural lines, colorful mosaic tiling (Trencadís), and fantastical architecture throughout.

Experience: that’s a completely different vibe to watch at night and cool down. The tour guide will explain everything you need to know and there’s a special night show too. It’s not very fancy but the atmosphere is great with a bit of breeze. If you’re visiting Barcelona for the first time, I strongly recommend it.

The Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona is an absolute masterpiece of Catalan Modernisme architecture. Designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, this UNESCO World Heritage Site takes your breath away the moment you step inside. The magnificent stained-glass skylight in the main concert hall illuminates the room with warm, colorful sunlight, creating a truly magical ambiance. Attending a live guitar performance here is an unforgettable experience—the acoustics are top-notch, and every detail, from the sculptures to the vibrant tilework, enhances the atmosphere. Whether you take a guided tour to admire the exquisite details or catch a concert, it is a must-visit destination for art and music lovers alike.

I truly loved visiting the Picasso Museum in Barcelona. It did not feel like just walking through a tourist attraction, but rather like an educational and emotional journey through the artist’s life, mind, and creative transformation. The museum is beautifully organized in a way that allows you to follow Picasso’s evolution step by step — from his early academic works to the more experimental and iconic styles that changed modern art.

Casa Vicens is a stunning hidden gem in Barcelona and a remarkable milestone as Antoni Gaudí’s first major residential design. This UNESCO World Heritage Site showcases a brilliant fusion of Oriental and Mudéjar styles, characterized by its vibrant green-and-white tilework, intricate iron details, and lush botanical motifs. Unlike Gaudí’s later, more organic creations, Casa Vicens features striking geometric patterns that make it uniquely captivating. Exploring the thoughtfully restored interior and tranquil garden offers a fascinating glimpse into the origins of Gaudí’s genius. It is an absolute must-visit for anyone looking to experience Barcelona’s rich architectural history without the overwhelming crowds.

I thought there might be no point in coming if I couldn't see a match, but that idea vanished in an instant. The museum's exhibits are all incredibly well-conceived. There are numerous displays where you can learn about the history of Barcelona. Although I wasn't alive during Cruyff's playing days, the valuable exhibits, which I'd only seen in videos, are a must-see. Two hours flew by in no time.

What to know before visiting Barcelona

Discover Barcelona’s highlights and seasonal rhythm

Barcelona’s most-booked experiences on Klook are historical sites, parks and gardens, guided tours and museums, with attraction passes also popular. Booking demand rises and falls through the year, peaking around November and dipping in March, so the city moves between busy bursts and quieter stretches.

Best months to visit for price and crowds

Klook booking data shows demand peaks in November while March sees the weakest demand. Prices drift through the year: they’re typically lowest in December and reach their highest point in February, so the cheapest months and the busiest months do not exactly match. For smaller crowds and lower prices, consider visiting in December or March; for that full peak-season atmosphere, November and the early-year months around February are the busiest and most vibrant.

Tips for travellers

Most activities in Barcelona can be booked fairly close to travel: typical Klook bookings happen about 14 days ahead, with last-minute options often available within around three days and earlier planners booking near 29 days. If you prefer flexibility, you can often secure experiences a few days out; if you’re travelling in the peak months mentioned above, consider booking a couple of weeks in advance to lock in preferred time slots.
