mark and peter were our guides for the day, and they were really knowledgeable and fun! peter pulled over to let us see a wild emu, and spoke of the sand dunes and holiday life in lancelin as we were driving over for a pit stop. sand boarding was fun too, even though the hike up the dune was slightly arduous (and had a few grains to crunch on in my mouth). as we moved up further, mark brought us down to the grasslands where we got to learn about these ancient trees in great detail. the sunset over at pinnacles was really beautiful this sunday, and the telescope set up enabled us to see the moon's beautiful craters. there was a variety of homemade foods prepared alongside bbq meat! we grabbed full plates and sat around peter as he talked to us about the solar system, milky way and wayfinding with stars. i left with a lot of new knowledge about the universe, an appreciation for the slow life and admiration for our guides' dedication to creating such an impressive experience. thank you!!!

itinerary: 10/10 — enjoyed it up until the very end. everything was clearly briefed and timing was well kept.

attractions on the way: 9/10— visited a number of beautiful beaches, it would’ve been perfect if there were some engaging activities in between on our way to the Pinnacles. nevertheless, views were breathtaking and enjoyable!

group size: 9/10 — there were roughly 26 people during the tour, it was an ideal group size for me, though we did have to squeeze in between our seats

guide: 10/10 — our guide was hardworking, friendly and sweet! she kept the energy consistent and was also inclusive in terms of providing vegetarian / halal meals for muslim tourists! also shared alot of her knowledge on the beaches and deserts we visited!

At Yanchep National Park, we were able to see koalas and kangaroos up close as they moved about. Although it rained heavily the day before and the day after, we had a wonderful time on this particular day, even seeing the stars clearly!

The trip has been livelier and even better than I thought because of Mr David as he explained it so well and taking care of us throughout the journey. The arrangement is just nice and the timing is on spot. Love it!

Our tour guide was very caring and attentive. The itinerary for this tour was incredibly rich. Since the Pink Lake is more beautiful in the morning, the guide thoughtfully arranged for us to visit it on the morning of the second day. They also helped us with free drone photography, which was extremely considerate. The only slight downside was that breakfast was not included at the hotel. The guide also proactively helped us take photos, and all the tour members spoke Chinese, which made for a very friendly atmosphere.

A must to go place when you visit Perth - Rottnest Island!
Visiting Rottnest Island was one of my favourite experiences during my trip to Perth. From the moment I arrived, I was amazed by the stunning scenery. The crystal-clear blue water, beautiful beaches, and peaceful surroundings made me feel completely relaxed.
The highlight of my visit was definitely meeting the famous quokkas. They were even cuter than I expected! Seeing them hopping around freely and getting the chance to take photos with these adorable little creatures was such a special moment. It was impossible not to smile whenever I saw them.
Rottnest Island is more than just a tourist attraction—it’s a place where you can slow down, appreciate nature, and create wonderful memories. I left with so many beautiful photos, but more importantly, with memories that I’ll always treasure. If I ever return to Perth, Rottnest Island will definitely be at the top of my list to visit again.

We were able to take our time watching the dolphins playing, which was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
It was also fun to see all the beautiful luxury homes along the way — I was especially impressed that they are located so close to where dolphins come!
I was able to make a reservation on the same day, which was very helpful.
At first, I went to the location pinned as “Mandurah Cruise,” but a staff member kindly explained where I should go, which I really appreciated.
It’s also very easy to get there — only about a 10-minute bus ride from Mandurah Station — so I think it’s a perfect place for a day trip!

Booking the tour was straightforward and hassle-free. When you arrive at the ferry terminal, just show your ticket to the crew. After landing on Rottnest Island, you can pick up your hired bike at the terminal by just telling them your name. This way, you skip the long lines and the hassle of renting a bike at the shop. Cycling around Rottnest Island is a fantastic and wholesome way to discover the island’s stunning scenery, as you can pause anywhere you like, and the roads are very bike-friendly. Plus, it’s a real treat to spot the adorable quokkas! Although the weather wasn’t the sunniest, it still made for an enjoyable ride without breaking a sweat.

It was a great experience for my family. We learned about the history of gold mining and explored the raw gold during the tour. Patrick is one of my tour guides, and I loved his explanation. I will definitely visit again.
