Things to do in Hualien

We booked a pickup service, and the driver arrived early at the hotel to pick us up. Upon arrival, he guided us to collect our boat tickets and then to a small classroom for a briefing. After the briefing, we set off. On the boat, the guide continuously shared information and taught us methods to alleviate seasickness. Seeing the dolphins was truly breathtaking; we marveled at the wonders of nature. The dolphins swimming around the boat were incredibly impressive. The entire experience, from boarding to disembarking, lasted about 1.5 hours and was absolutely worthwhile.

An absolutely fantastic experience!!! 100 points!! The boat was very comfortable and clean! And my mom and I didn't get seasick! Others did, haha! Seeing the ocean was truly amazing! You definitely have to choose this boat; it's a great experience, and they even provide pickup and drop-off, which is very thoughtful. I was originally worried about getting sick, even though I wore anti-nausea acupressure patches, but I guess I forgot all about it because I was in such a good mood!!!! Our guide, A-Jie, is a very dedicated person. He is meticulous, conscientious, and incredibly professional. He made my elderly parents and me feel so welcome and comfortable. Even though we were his only group, he was still incredibly attentive and made us feel at ease.

Online tickets are cheaper than buying at the gate; for Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung residents, it's around $299 at the gate. All activities, including the dolphin show and parade, are held on weekdays, and there are no lines for the rides, so you can ride them again and again—it's a lot of fun. They sell grape cups at the dolphin show! They're quite tasty at $199, a bit pricey but great, and they feel healthy. I hope they offer more fruit cup varieties in the future, as it's healthier for kids! All in all, it's a very fun and great value amusement park!

This trip was fantastic! Our tour guide, Mr. Xu, did an excellent job arranging everything for us, allowing us to fully experience the romance of the Pacific. We saw the crystal-clear waters of Qixingtan at its best in the morning, spotted dolphins during our boat trip, and the ocean color at Qingshui Cliff was truly mysterious and beautiful. He also shared some local insights, giving us a deeper understanding of the area. Thank you very much! ^_^♪

Enjoy your visit to the Taroko Gorge, even though most of the trails are closed due to the 2024 earthquake. It's still a pleasant experience with a few stops along the way. Thanks to Josephine for her explanations and her sense of humor.

Upward is a very professional team! From the station pickup to the rafting experience, everything was wonderful! The kids had a blast playing in the water too! After purchasing tickets online, exchange them for boat tickets and confirm your boat schedule at the counter next to the Hualien Promisedland Resort's 7-Eleven entrance building. Boarding point #1 is conveniently located near the entrance building, making it quick and easy! The electric yacht offers a quiet and comfortable ride, and the onboard guide's humorous and detailed explanations were truly impressive. They even pause at special spots to allow visitors to take photos. This time, we saw the lush green lake scenery of summer and the magnificent, continuous 'Guardian Mountain.' I'm looking forward to seeing the beautiful golden-orange bald cypress trees in autumn! Highly recommended!

This is a great place for the whole family to visit on a nice day! There are also many small animals, which is very therapeutic! You'll find adorable calves, raccoons, and Bambi deer, offering a lot of variety! The park is large enough to spend an entire day. There are a few small mosquitoes in the park, so you might want to bring your own mosquito repellent or patches. Online ticket purchases also offer discounts! Highly recommended!
