Things to do in Reykjavik

It was a fantastic tour! The bus was on time and comfortable. We really enjoyed and were amazed by the wonderful beatuties of the crater, the greysir, the mighty waterfall, and the national park. Highly recommended!

It was absolutely a wonderful trip for us. The bus was so comfortable that we did not feel tired though the travelling distance was more than 800km. Geri who was our guide was a wonderful guide. We were able to see the iceberg and other natural heritages of the South Coast. Absolutely amazing!!!!

you can see the all Icelandic view in just one peninsula, the glacier, volcano, lava, waterfalls, black sand beaches and cliffs. you’re like travelling in somewhere of nothingness in most of the time of the journey, however, this is Iceland.

We enjoyed all aspects of the museum. We had just finished our Ring Road trip and this was a strand that tied our trip together- answered remaining questions.

We had Petra and Dean bring us around and I must say this was really fun! they changed the locations on the spot depending on the possibility of the aurora and the weather and we had a FANTASTIC sighting near Keflavik! the two of them are so spontaneous and kept us on our toes! I loved it!

We were lucky to have sunny weather, which made the views along the road even more stunning. The tour was well organized, everyone stayed on schedule, and the experience was smooth and enjoyable. Our guide Anya is just amazing. She is very knowledgeable about the glacier and explained very well. she is extremely careful about safety of every team member. She held the hand of a team member who had some difficulties walking to make sure she got to enjoy the hike. very caring guide. We are so lucky to have her. Thank you Anya.

Amazing experience! We saw multiple whales up close, and the crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and well-organized. The hotel pickup service made everything super convenient. Truly unforgettable and highly recommended.

It's worth it! You can take a bus and then walk a short distance (about 15 minutes) to Sky Lagoon to save on shuttle fees. Also, many museums in Iceland are small and beautiful. If you visit them one by one and buy tickets, it's not very cost-effective. The City Card is great value if you use it to its full potential, combining it with buses, a bit of walking, and focusing on key attractions. You'll still have time to go to a public hot spring (currently there are eight free ones; Vesturbajarlaug near the University of Iceland is recommended). This way, you can achieve both a local living experience with a day at a city hot spring and a luxurious, tranquil experience at Sky Lagoon in one trip. The only thing to be aware of is the pick-up of the City Card (City Hall is open from 8 am to 4 pm; be mindful of the hours, or you can go to several museums instead; currently in February, most open from 10 am to 5 pm). Also, pay attention to the activation time (the bus cannot activate the card; staff at City Hall or a museum need to write the validity period on it for you).
